Attorney General Barr’s office and Special Counsel clarify on OLC guidance re: charging a sitting president. Both say no discrepancy.
So Mueller has now clarified that the policy of not indicting a sitting President had no effect on his decisions vis-a-vis obstruction.
Where are you seeing this statement? I don’t see it at the link.

In other words, Mueller is now saying “wait, wait I never said Trump would have been charged if he weren’t President, only that the fact that he was President is why I didn’t bother to answer the question.”
Sounds to like, “I’ve got nothing, but hey, if you think you got something on Trump, go for it.”

The statement is written in English but needs a gobbledegook translation.
YOU read the statement. It says in plain English that there was no contradiction between what Mueller said yesterday and what Barr had said previously.
Mueller could have quietly retired but he had to hold this confusing press conference. I smell a Rat.

Correct. The standard for criminal action is probable cause, which Mueller could n0t meet. The standard for political action i.e. impeachment, is whatever C0ngress says it is.s
