Two-Tiered Justice and Professional Escape Artists – Prior IG Conclusions Impede Current AG Barr…

CTH shared a prediction in September 2018 which bears repeating. However, prior to revisiting the past let us overlay today’s events. Keep in mind, much of what is happening is downstream from predicate events that took place long before AG Bill Barr was confirmed to run the DOJ. Actually, while not intending to defend Bill Barr, some of the recent events are beyond his control.

Here’s how:

First, if you remember when the 568 page IG report on FBI/DOJ conduct was delivered in June 2018, you might remember how the ‘executive summary and conclusions’ were disconnected from the main body of evidence within the report. In 2018 CTH warned this “disconnect” was by design; essentially the corrupt officials were laying down a defense for any conduct, later outlined, that is connected to the body of the IG review.

When IG Horowitz announced last year he could find no evidence of actions taken as a result of political bias by FBI and DOJ officials; he also stated he could not rule out bias within their investigation. Horowitz pointed to the lack of action by FBI Agent Peter Strzok -following the September 28th, 2016, notification of Clinton emails on Abedin laptop- as lacking reasonable explanation. Essentially, despite suspicions, the summary conclusion was the IG could find “no evidence of intentional wrongdoing“.

More: "The 568-pages contained a multitude of examples of FBI misconduct (media leaks etc.), but the same IG report summary said “no illegal activity was discovered.” In the Sessions/Rosenstein led DOJ there was a disconnect between the summary/conclusions and the body of evidence.

With that in mind, how could the Bill Barr DOJ prosecute on evidence of behavior from within a report where the Rod Rosenstein DOJ conclusion was no evidence of “intentional wrongdoing”?"

In short, he can’t.

"Think about how easy it would be for a defense attorney representing one of the accused officials detailed in the IG report…. Take the IG report, which outlines the events for which the client is being prosecuted, and simply say: “the conclusion of the FBI investigation said “no evidence of intentional wrongdoing” so why is my client being charged?”

It’s a circular defense created by a prior conclusion. If there was no evidence of intentional wrongdoing, the downstream events cannot be prosecuted. This is by design.

But if new evidence is found that points to intentional wrong doings then the old conclusions cannot be relied upon. Of a line of investigation was not prviously follwed to its end or if another investigation throws another light on previous investigations then surely the previous conclusions become highly suspect and can be revisited!?

We need some good news. I think it's time for the good guys to pray.

I have yet to see the Barr era veer an inch from what Rick Wiles at Trunews reported months ago that he had heard re: the Bush and Trump families coming to a truce after Poppy’s funeral, when Poppy’s sons took a pass on continuing in the family business. Because it was supposed to be Bushies behind the ongoing coup against Trump.

The deal as Wiles reported he had heard at the time was that they were calling the big guns off Trump and Trump’s family, while the Trump admin wasn’t really going to expose the decades of wrongdoing from the Bush machine. Supposedly there would still be some skirmishes from the Dems in Congress taking shots at Trump, but the big guns, including impeachment, were off the table.

And part of the deal was supposed to be that Trump would put the longtime Bush man Barr in as AG to serve as an enforcer to see that the Bush side and team indeed were safe (while also enforcing that the big threats against Trump would be pulled back).

From the way Joe DiGenova has been plumping Barr all along and still supposedly getting inside scoops from Barr’s team, my speculation would be that Joe is the key figure who negotiated the deal. (Though I wouldn’t totally rule out possible involvement from Giuliani, who has his own Bush-linked stuff to bury (e.g., 9/11) and/or Dersh.

So far the subsequent fact pattern of the last five months entirely fits with the scenario Wiles rolled out as what he had been hearing.

If a line of investigation was not previously followed to its end or if another investigation throws another light on previous investigations then surely the previous conclusions become highly suspect and can be revisited!?

And don’t underestimate the Javanka connection, as Kushner and his family have been up to their eyeballs in Soros money, Genie Energy, the Jewish Russian oligarchs, Bibi, etc., from long before Trump’s run for office.

Well, here is something interesting.

____

Nobodysfool (at CTH) says:

“ It’s time for rubber to hit the road, feces to hit the fan, whatever it takes.”

“Mueller once again threw down the gauntlet yesterday. He’s a gutless hack, too cowardly to face real questions on the very real collusion, obstruction and conspiracy, either too afraid or too well paid off to take on what really happened in the 2016 election. He stood there yesterday claiming the American people should be concerned about foreign interference in our elections, knowing full well what Clinton and Obama did to interfere with the election. After 2016, we all better be most worried about how the Banana Republic Dems will interfere. They won’t be happy till we are under the iron fist of Hugo Chavez style elections. “

“On the other hand, Bob Mueller did our country a great service yesterday with his seditious disservice. More Americans woke up upon hearing we’re now living in a country where we’re guilty until proven innocent and then after 2 years of exhaustive investigations and NO evidence of guilt is found, we are convicted anyway. More woke up to see illegals have more rights than we do and the highest level of ‘justice’ purveyors side with them. More woke to see that Hillary Clinton’s evil and deliberate obstruction and spitting on the rule of law will forever be tolerated simply because she’s got a D behind her name.”

_______________

Well said …………

That's very interesting, but I don't think that it is all true.

There are more powers involved in this who may not be controlled so easily.

“But if new evidence is found...”

Yes. New evidence. In the real world, i.e., not the Swamp, new evidence can be grounds for a new trial or investigation. Of course, that was in the olden days when a person was “presumed innocent until proven guilty.” Now Mueller has thrown that out the window and America is now Bizarro World.

When I think back over the course of my lifetime to all the times a politician, or high level bureaucratic appointee, faced the legal music for crimes committed, I come up dry. I have absolutely no reason to think the same won’t occur here. In the end when DJT passed off declassification to Barr, I felt the tick, tock countdown was over. IMO we’ll see a committee formed with the purpose of making recommendations for change, and life in the swamp will go on. I’ll join you in prayer that I’m wrong, but until then I have to be realistic. For well founded reasons I’m simply not able to become overly optimistic for this nation’s future. The left has control of much more of the State than I realized prior to DJTs election.

I think they are all too old to be in any position of authority. Insanity or borderline. Hard to believe Mueller is “respected”. He is a mental mess.

Hate to say it but you are right, all the anticipation of the dope Horowitz report will only empower democrats to impeachment when no one is charged.

We are awake, but it’s time for the Republican Party to make the next move. We can sit at websites and opine about what President Trump should and should not do, what Barr can and can’t do. Dear God in Heaven, we’ve chewed those bones into dust over the years and guess what? They keep coming for our throats and we keep trying to play umpteen dimensional chess and second guess what we can and can’t do and which documents should be dumped and which ones stay sealed.
[ ]

While Rashida’s twin brother, Amash, and Mitt Romney are celebrating today, the true Republicans in Congress better call some emergency meetings and get some fires started. All the chit chat, digging deep as to who did what and when, what might happen, what should happen but can’t, all of it is meaningless unless the Republican Party lines up behind our President with bayonets fixed

[ ]
It’s up to the GOP leadership and individual Republicans around the country to stand up, say “Hell no!” and win this thing. Time for a whole lot more action and a lot less grand opinion peddling which recent history shows, doesn’t move the ball an inch..

sadly i think you are correct, all the 3d chess is bs for stall on both sides, they know neither party can investigate all before changes in leadership occur and old bs turns to new bs..untouchable without surgical removal..disband the intel agencies and go smaller units with greater oversight and expertise..
