If I see my neighbor beating his 5-year-old to death, am I morally unable to do anything to stop it unless I'm willing or able to adopt the child? Of course not, and (almost) every pro-abort would agree. The only reason they see abortion differently is that they refuse to acknowledge the humanity of the unborn child.
Yes. This is why we have food stamps. This is why we have the WIC program. This is why we have Medicaid... to help with the birth and life...not create death.
Wow, she didn’t even have to wait.
Kaitlin Bennett (Liberty Hangout) encountered this very question when she was interviewing pro-abortion people in Austin just a few days ago. It’s on YouTube, and it’s too painful to watch again, so this is one of the few times I’m not going to add a link. Morgana might have posted it.
Unwanted pregnancies are merely a symptom of a bigger problem. The sexual revolution has been lost. If people are not in the position to bring a child into the world and properly raise him/her, then they should NOT be engaging in the act that causes this to happen. Simple as that.
Dear Pro-Life friends: what have you personally done to support lower income single mothers? Ill wait.
You don’t have to wait I can answer now. Paid my Taxes Federal State and Local. Donate to churches that help. Voted for Donald Trump who in turn brought more and better jobs to the scene. Push my representatives to do immigration reform and get the wall built so the illegals stop draining the system set aside to help those single mothers!
Actually I heard a Republican woman say that. In the 1990s. She wants all blacks, poor, Latinos, etc to be aborted because it costs too much to care for them. I was shocked.
Yes! All that needs to be done is to change the laws so it’s as easy for Christians to adopt those babies as it is for homosexuals.
Be willing to take care of them and their families? Are you kidding me? The number of taxpayer funded social services programs is staggering.
This argument is an attempt to shift responsibility from the person directly involved in the decision to have unprotected sex to those who decry what they perceive as a murderous act to shed that responsibility.
What if the argument is extended to a mother who gives birth but later decides children are too much of a responsibility and wants to shed herself of the child. Post birth abortion up to the age of legal personhood of the child (18 years in most states)? Or to simply abandon them to the state or private adoption of some kind?? If the latter, I think the parents should be taxed to pay some portion of the cost of raising the child by the state or private adopters.
To what extent do women use abortion as a form of birth control? Their failure to use birth control to prevent pregnancy, is a factor. The irresponsible mothers want someone else to take care of their babies. Being pro choice, said mothers want someone to kill the baby for them, so they are not inconvenienced.
Mother Theresa said "give them to me."
How many of the abortion pimps have taken in mothers who claim they murder their children because of financial problems?
It’s not my job to take care of your unwanted children, but I’ll not let them starve in the streets.
That’s a very satisfying Twitter thread.

THE question is whether or not all humans have a right to life. Once you start to bring into the argument all the potential consequences, such as bad parents or economics, you have muddied the waters. No child should be killed because of the sins of the parents.
If the parents won’t take care of these children then the state can pay for their upkeep from the wages earned by the parents stamping out license plates.
Dear anti death penalty foes. What have you done to care for those with life without parole.
Dear advocates for immigration: how may of them have you taken into your own homes?
Southern conservatives are always the most generous when it comes to charitable giving
