A group of three Obama-appointed federal judges struck down Trump's border wall and allowed Congress to subpoena Trump in bold rulings.
U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam Jr., Edgardo Ramos and Amit Mehta challenged President Donald Trump's administration with rulings over the last week.
According to The Associated Press, Gilliam Jr. ruled against the construction of parts of Trump's border wall. The decision will prevent the Trump administration from diverting funds allocated to a national emergency.
On May 20, U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta ruled Trump must comply with a Congressional subpoena that will ask for financial records since 2011. And Ramos ruled banks that have conducted business with Trump and his family must turn over financial records.
Trump expressed outrage over the rulings pointing out they were both appointed by Obama. The business mogul specifically named Mehta in his grievances.
"As far as the financials are concerned, we think it’s totally the wrong decision by, obviously, an Obama-appointed judge,” he told reporters last week after the ruling. “He was a recent Obama-appointed judge.”
Critics have complained about all three judges donating to former Obama presidential campaigns. According to election records via The Epoch Times, Gilliam donated to his campaigns dating back to 2007. The judge sent $13,500 to Obama for America and Obama Victory Fund 2012. There was also a donation of $4,500 to the Democratic National Committee.
The decision to block the wall allows for the American Civil Liberties Union and the state attorneys general of 19 states to move forward with their lawsuits against the Trump administration.
“This order is a win for our system of checks and balances, the rule of law, and border communities,” Dror Ladin, an attorney for the ACLU told The AP, which represented the Sierra Club and the Southern Border Communities Coalition.
Earlier this year, Trump orchestrated a government shutdown in hopes of receiving 5.7 billion dollars to fund the wall.

It's the wave of the future, and it's only going to get worse. For Republican candidates to survive the onslaught they'll be forced to move more and more to the left. That will be the case until and unless Right Conservatives decide to become proactive and seize the country back from the communists.
Thus far, other than electing Trump, we've been lethargic, lazy, complacent and obtuse.
This is a great opportunity for Trump to take on these non-elected political hacks, who put themselves above the POTUS. Trump should defy these lower courts and go directly to the Supremes.
Why do all the other Federal judge remain silent in the face of judicial tyranny? No dissension what so ever.
They stopped the STEVE BANNON GROUP wall project too. IMHO, these judges should be removed from the bench. They are seditionists and traitors to our country.

You have a point. We don’t seem as organized or as passionate as the Leftists. It’s almost as if Pelosi could say, “Trump is a criminal, and for the good of the country, we are taking over in the name of the people,” and we would just respond, “But that’s not Constitutional.” And that would be the end of our “resistance.”
I’m exaggerating, of course, but we don’t seem to come out in numbers in protest marches, and most of the GOP just quake in their boots and say nothing.
