Sources inside the New York Police Department have also criticized de Blasio’s program saying that it will tend to give criminals license to offend.
One NYPD official told the paper that de Blasio and his minions in his administration “don’t live in the neighborhoods where people are being robbed and assaulted.” The source added, “Without bail, the perps will be thinking: ‘I’m in, and I’m out. Nothing’s going to happen. What’s the big deal?”
