Bitter medicine, but I still maintain that a couple of 1950s style citybuster H-bombs on Mecca and Riyadh back after 9/11 would have changed the world for the better.
Really, I can’t imagine that such a response by the US would have made things worse.
It seems like an effective way to tell foreign powers: “Change your ways”.
