Sitting on a bus in Boston, thousands of miles from her home in Hong Kong, college student Frances Hui crossed paths with an inquisitive fellow passenger.

Where are you from? the passenger pressed. Recommended Video

When she eventually replied "Hong Kong," the man started to get aggressive, Hui recounted. He insisted that she should define herself as "from China" - which was handed control of the former British colony in 1997.

In recent months, Hong Kong courts have charged and imprisoned the pro-democracy movement's leaders for up to 16 months despite the protests being overwhelmingly peaceful. An appeals court on Thursday ruled that 22-year-old Joshua Wong, one of the movement's symbols, will return to prison.

Trump's trade war with China today is something the United States should have taken up with Germany during the 1930s. Commie sympathizers in the Democratic Party are fighting him hard on this issue.

You knew this would be the meme, right?

“It’s racist to resist China in trade”

If the PLA were to invade, the Rat party would get a judge to say we aren’t allowed to fight back.

She could have said: “And where do you live?”

He’s reply: “In Boston.”

She could counter: “You should say you live in America. That’s Trump country and has been since 2016.”

China’s a big place. Saying you’re from Hong Kong is more specific.

So...she can identify as a green, vege-human who can see the future but she can’t choose to say Hong Kong instead of China? If she doesn’t want to be considered Chinese how is that different from her right to be considered a blond Norwegian or Bruce Lee for that matter???

China has several people in America who fight for the minds of the ABC those are American Born Chinese and their immigrant parents. There are reported thousands of Chinese spy’s who come here for college, go back home, and come back to trade shows and other things like grad school. They spy on the other Chinese students. I have a lot of Chinese staff who are very leery of them. As soon as the Chinese get a green card, they feel much safer. America is 5% Asian now. And the Asians will over take the Africans here by 2060. The Hispanics have already taken over the Africans.

Actually, some of the loudest and earliest critics of Trump’s trade policy have been GOP. Senator Ron Johnson comes to mind and there are others, too.

Whenever I have traveled outside the US and someone asks me where I am from, I say “Texas.”
