A new Gillette ad released last week Thursday features a transgender man shaving for the first time.
Samson Bonkeabantu Brown, a Toronto-based artist, shares the personal on-camera experience with his father, who coaches him through the significant life moment.
“Now, don’t be scared,” his father warns. “Shaving is about being confident.”
“Growing up, I was always trying to figure out what kind of man I wanted to become and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of man that I want to become,” says Brown, who addresses his transition through manhood.

Look for a Van Der Hagen safety razor “starter kit” at one of the larger drugstores. Comes complete with blades...takes a little getting used to, but the results are incredible. And, replacement blades are CHEAP compared to cartridges!
And that, right there, is the core problem. Doctors who are willing and eager to facilitate “transitioning” people from one gender to another. To make big money, doctors are willing to violate their oath to first do no harm and instead mutilate bodies and pump them full of various drugs to suppress natural sex-related characteristics. Some doctors are now doing this to children.

Keep using your Gillette products and find something else Procter and Gamble makes that you can boycott; there are probably at least a dozen items in your household that might apply. If I boycotted every company that pissed me off politically I'd have to move to Antarctic and live with the penguins.

I am only one click away from dumping Facebook. If friends or family can post to Facebook, they can copy and past that post into an email to me. If they can’t be bothered, I don’t need them. My nieces are strangers having babies I will never get to meet or influence.

I use one suggested by a Freeper. Its called Dorco. Has 6 blades on the front and one on the back for tight places like under nose. I use one with a vibrating handle. Shaves as close as Gillette and I don’t cut myself.
I never used their products when I worked there and I never will.
