Venezuela's murderous 'Crazy Boys' make their living by kidnapping in one of the world's most violent cities, with lawlessness spreading in the failing socialist state.
Feared Caracas street gangster El Negrito, 24, sleeps with a silver revolver under his pillow and says he's lost track of his murder count.
But despite his bloody record, the killer says firing his gun has become a luxury with soaring inflation in President Nicolas Maduro's economy.
'If you empty your clip, you're shooting off $15,' said El Negrito, who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition he be identified only by his street name and photographed wearing a hoodie and face mask to avoid attracting unwelcome attention. 'You lose your pistol or the police take it and you're throwing away $800.'

Most of our most violent robberies and crimes are committed in poor inner city neighborhoods - and cities run by liberal democrats pushing the insanity of socialism.
>> He was talking about a revolver...
Was he? Could it be he has TWO shootin’ ahrns?
When SlumPedro empties his chimbo puta cañón it costs $15. Balas cost $1 each.
Hmmmmm ...
At least as far as this story goes, they’re only quoting the gangster, so it’s his ignorance in this case.
Hey...living is overrated anyway...
A revolver with a clip/magazine?
“Feared Caracas street gangster El Negrito, 24, sleeps with a silver revolver under his pillow and says he’s lost track of his murder count.”
Caracas or Chicago?
It is always something negrito down there. In the 90s it was the cops in black leathers on black motorcycles. They got their pocket money by shaking down kids in the Las Mercedes area.
Venezuela is a sh!t hole but could easily be so much more. The country hit the jackpot on land and resources but they have just gone to hell in a hand basket.
Don’t you just love dictators and socialism? Such a wonderful form of government. Seems to be right up AOCs alley. She should go down there and help them out. She could really be a rock star.
>> A revolver with a clip/magazine?
No, of course not. But the article states that cartridges cost $1 each, and that it costs $15 every time he expends a [magazine]. That kinda implies that he owns a semi-auto pistol in addition to the shiny revolver he sleeps with every night.
It literally says that he sleeps with a silver revolver under his pillow...
Hes complaining about the cost of ammo. Something tells me they dont care about and cant afford fast reloading devices. Just a thought...
OK, got the silver revolver part. He also says:
“If you empty your clip, you’re shooting off $15”
Sounds like a second gun - a semi-auto - to me. 14-15 round magazines are common. Makes sense - I sleep with a revolver (far less chance of it going “boom” if something tangles in the trigger guard), but for all other purposes, it’s a semi-auto.
One must wonder where he got that revolver.
Maduro said he was going to arm some of his voting base, shortly after Putin visit
Stalin did issue Nagant revolvers to his workers when he sent them to the country side to collectivize and take the land from the kulaks
This is no accident, but the antigun idiots out west , the fudds , left and right, talk vaguely about socialism when it is a full blown gun free zone genocide program
The price of ammo is high in Venezuela. A common revolver takes five rounds. $15 to reload 5 rounds would validate the expensive ammo claim. Youre giving this idiot too much credit. They use the word clip to start. That should be sign enough.
Maduro’s support base consists of people who would never be able to earn a living in a real job. They can only survive by stealing, whether personally or through the assistance of the government. And now they are faced with the situation where there is nothing left to steal, and nobody left to steal from.
There is no long term solution for Venezuela which does not involve the extermination of these parasites.
