I knew in 1961 that the USA was making a huge mistake by not taking Castro out.

So did a lot of other people, except for the wussies in the JFK administration who called off US support for the Cuban exiles at the Bay of Pigs!

Central and South America have been devastated by Communist/Cuban mischief ever since!
