Senate Democrats to House: Tamp down the impeachment talk

Senate Democrats want the House to cool it on impeachment.

They see an impeachment drive as hurting more than helping their efforts to win back the Senate majority and generally back Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) efforts to keep a lid on the issue.

Even Senate Democrats running for president who back impeachment aren’t pressing Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) to take a more aggressive approach to the issue.

“I don’t think we should go there now,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. “I was here for the Clinton impeachment, and after it was over I wished it never had happened. I think we ought to be very, very cautious with that kind of thing."

“Everybody does what they do based on their own desires, but I don’t find it helpful,” she said of fellow Democrats who are pushing for the beginning of an impeachment inquiry.

Democrats already face an uphill fight in winning back the Senate.

Republicans hold a 53-47 majority, and Democrats must defend Sen. Doug Jones (D) in Republican-leaning Alabama. Their best opportunities for picking up seats may be in Maine and Colorado, where Trump lost to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016, and in Arizona.

Too late.

They already look like idiots for not just accepting the Mule Report, which they pushed for years.

Pelosi isn’t in charge. AOC and her islamists are.

Prediction for 2020......50+ swing in the House, 7+ swing in the Senate.

People see what's going on, and all those stay-at-home GOP votes are going to come out in droves, along with all the Dem voters who will decide to stay home.

Some of them know that it will likely backfire on them, that is why they don’t want to go there.

But the mobs are all excited and don’t want to listen.

I really do not think there are a lot of stay-at-home Republican votes. Staying at home and not voting is a Democrat thing, not a Republican thing.

Seriously?, The only reason the magic negro was elected and re-elected was because repubs refused to show up for Juan or Mittens.

A lot of that happened in 2016.

We found a lot of the Repubs staying home or not voting for Trump simply because they didn't like his demeanor.

They voted down ticket, but not the top job. That will change this time around.

They can’t convict in the senate. The I Word is dead. Nasty may be going senile but she ain’t totally stupid. The drama will continue but the end will never reach climax.

Hopefully the media asks AOC and her Islamist followers their opinion on this.

Let’s get some more infighting going.

Hey, House Democrats... don't listen to those silly Senate lefties. Begin impeachment proceedings immediately. And be as loud and nasty as you can (and we all know how loud and nasty you can be, so no sense in holding back now).

The SH*** stirrer and Chief seems we’ll up to the task. He may stir till they have to try impeachment. Ya Gotta Love it. He’s absorbing the dems energy, getting stronger as they weaken.

Yeah. In Florida, Rubio got 4,835,191 votes.

Trump got 4,617,556 votes.

In 2020, I believe Trump will get those missing votes(+217,000).

We have at least 10 million sitting on the sidelines, alienated hard by the GOPe and the Bush family and people like John McCain.
