Social justice can be understood as liberal political dogma invested with religious levels of devotion.
They’ve appropriated a lot of Islam to do so. For example, there is a return to a moral hierarchy, different demographics having different moral weights. In Islam, women are worth half a man, Christians half a Muslim if you pay the taxes. In social justice, it is reversed.
Social justice stole Islam’s justification for executing atheists and converts from the faith. They equate unbelief as an attack on all the sacred believers. Your announcement of atheism or attempt to defend your faith in public is an attempted murder of the morally superior true believers, so we can kill you in self defense. SJWs just use different language - you’re invalidating us, you’re killing us.
They’ve also appropriated Islam’s moral system, that the greatest good is spreading and strengthening the ideology. Assault people? Assault the wrong person? Fake a hate crime to justify your political demands? It is all morally acceptable because the GREATEST good is spreading and strengthening the totalitarian ideology. This parallels Islam saying it is OK to lynch Christians on false blasphemy charges, because it scares the rest into submission.
