When property values start plunging around the DC area while they are rising in the rest of the country, we will know the swamp is finally being drained.

If enough of these jag-offs leave the DC area, we might even turn Virginia red again.

Good-if they don’t want to live in the area where their work is actually relevant and get their hands dirty along with us rural deplorables, good riddance-and it gets rid of some useless fed jobs-besides, it makes perfect sense-locate the agencies concerned with agriculture-crops, animal husbandry, etc-in places where farming/ranching is actually done-I don’t think there are a lot of farms and ranches in and around DC...

“Winning!”
********

My exact instantaneous reaction. Let’s see...novel thought that USDA employees in D.C.(who probably think carrots grow on trees) be located where real farmers grow stuff the rest of us eat.

Good. They do wonderful things like round up and murder Canada geese on federal and city parkland. I have less than zero use for USDA personnel.

Some moves are justified, some are not. I know of one in downtown DC that is going to cost the taxpayers millions in unanticipated operating costs, which has already led to a major leaving/retirement (some very well earned) of veteran lawyers, and is giving remaining staff offices that are more like prison cells, unfunctional, located far from the courts (leading to major expenses just for travel), and are inadequate for all the govt agencies there already.

Don’t know about the Agriculture situation, but when it comes to sheer stupidity, incompetence and waste, the GSA is right out out in front
