Federally, yes. But does that federal limitation apply to the States? For that/ matter does the NY constitution specifically ban bills of attainder? Id hope so, but dont know so.

This is a slam dunk Section 1983 violation. President Trump could IMMEDIATELY arrest and imprison most of the government of New York State.
And that is an encouraging thought.
