I work in ‘academia’ - and it isn’t the single-minded lockstep that people think. Over the past ten years or so, it’s become a morass of discontent, even though it’s often a subterranean discontent. Watch and see.
The Democrats are making absolute fools of themselves; and they’ll pay for that - there are still too many intelligent and canny - if quiet - people, Watching.
(And ‘Antifa’ has shown itself to be pretty flaccid...)

Kicked our butts up one side and down the other in numerous ways for years and only now being somewhat pushed back.
