Freshman congresswoman Lauren Underwood crossed a line today during a hearing where acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan was testifying about the crisis on the southern border. Rep. Underwood noted that 5 children in Border Patrol custody have died since December. That’s true but Underwood then stated that it was her conclusion, based on evidence, that the deaths were part of an intentional policy. Rep. Mike Rogers the ranking Republican member on the committee said Rep. Underwood’s remarks were tantamount to accusing the Secretary of murder and asked that her remarks be stricken from the record. After a vote, Underwood’s remarks were removed. Here’s how the exchange went down.
Had the remarks not been stricken then I’d support McAleenan for walking out on those a-holes.

Democrats like this one are intentionally killing children crossing the border.
There are almost 8 billion people in the world today. At least half would come to the U.S. tomorrow if they were able to do so. This is not some sort of nationalistic bravado. It is simply recognition of the fact that half of the world lives in conditions that would be considered worse than abject poverty in the U.S., without access to regular food, clean drinking water, sanitation, and with less than $2 income per day.
So how many of the 8 billion people should we allow into the U.S. tomorrow? If your answer is anything less than “all of them” (and I have not heard any democrat openly saying that is what they want) then the next questions that must be answered are: (1) how many should we admit, and (2) how do we decide which ones?
Inducing would be immigrants into engaging in a Darwinian/Hunger Games style “whoever makes it across the border alive wins” competition is not the best way to decide how many and which immigrants to admit. President Trump has proposed an alternative. The democrats just want to keep on killing children.
Agree. I want these leftist nutjobs on the record all the time, especially during election season. The Congressman should have simply stated that he would add her comments to the plethora made by other nutjobs and Neocons.
I wonder what the liberal response would be if there was a large demand for these immigrants to be allowed in all of the unions and especially be in charge of these unions. We had a community organizer as President. The organizers from certain countries would handle the union “business”. Just don’t call these unions “Cartels”.

I’m glad the “congesswoman’s” picture was posted. We need to actually see the worthless $hit that’s being elected to “represent” the “big city” trash people! Our country’s downfall will be allowing the big, Rat-run cities to elect a majority.

If you are a democrat, you are a horrible person. It is really as simple as that. Falsely accusing a person of murdering children, coming from a person who I am sure demands the right for women to murder their children without consequence.
