The New York City Department of Education has instructed its teachers that “objectivity” and “individuals” are “white supremacist” concepts.
According to a report from the New York Times, Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza gave a presentation about “white supremacy” culture. In the lesson, Carranza claims that concepts like “perfectionism,” “paternalism,” and “objectivity” are part of “white supremacy culture.”
Surprisingly, documents from Carranza’s presentation do little to tie these concepts to “white supremacy.” A graphic from Carranza’s lesson explains why “objectivity” is a negative concept. “This can lead to the belief that there is an ultimate truth and that alternative viewpoints or emotions are bad, it’s even inherent in the ‘belief that there is such a thing as being objective,'” the graphic reads.

Well, if “objectivity” and “individuality” are problematic, and therefore white (intrinsically problematic), the corresponding goods are “subjectivity” and “groupthink”. In other words, arbitrary tribalism with decisions made at the whim of the local or distant leader. But, at least subjective groupthink with arbitrary leadership wouldn’t then suffer from being too white.
Isn’t that the logical conclusion?
This country is so screwed. People ought to start learning Chinese, because that is what is coming.
If there's no objective truth, this is just one person's meaningless opinion.
We need to either retake the education system or establish our own. As it is sending your children to public school is approaching child abuse.

Gosh, this “White Supremacy Culture” thing is so pervasive that it looks like the only way to resolve it is for whites to be in their own societies where they can’t oppress others. Or would that also be racist? Maybe we need a wall to keep others from coming in to be oppressed.

Just another liberal attempt at instilling a communist mindset in our younger generations. The clear message to them is individualism bad, collectivism good.
We need to show people like him what a hostile environment really is.
But again they won’t apply logic to get that far, that being another “white” thing.
By historical circumstance, white Europeans and Christianity have a great overlap in America — and Christianity (and to a lesser extent, its ancestral Judaism) is what bore the idea of objectivity all over the globe.
It’s risky and dangerous to be objective in a subjective world. In fact it would make sense to yield if it weren’t for a God that actually is real. Attempts to talk down God sound consistently more ridiculous than the theological assertions they oppose.
A resurgence of the church is the only thing that can bear witness against the modern madness.
Sounds good to me.
Per the bible, the answer sounds almost wimpy. “Be ready to give a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and respect.” What this does, however, is to unleash the Holy Spirit. The person has to deal with God as a person now, not just God as a concept.
Actually it’s a distortion of a white thing. Classical Christian faith always stressed leaning on God, no matter what.
