Australian Election Losers: Climate Change Cult, Socialism, Identity Politics, Political Correctness

Australian political commenter Rowan Dean went on a rant that could be the theme song for Trump and Republicans in 2020. Sit back and enjoy.

"This was the climate change cult election. And the climate change cult lost.

This was the socialism versus capitalism election. And socialism lost.

This was the identity politics versus traditional values election. And identity politics lost.

This was the political correctness versus common sense election. And political correctness lost….

Take note, you miserable toadies in the business world who sneer at people because of their religious beliefs, their love of Australia, their traditional family and conservative values.

You pander to the left. You pander to online left-wing activism, and you lose.

The best summary of the election result I have heard by far.

Amazingly accurate and will give you hope.

Well done"

We are a decade late going hard after political correctness. It needs to be mocked and counterpunched and litigated and stigmatized until its last adherents don’t dare mention it in public.

I guess those criminal, scoundrel, deplorable Aussies are still smarter than the elites.

They’ll be back. They’re stupider than we’re diligent, alert & vigilant. We just want to get on with our lives. They want to get on with out lives too.

The Australian media through their polling and through their reporting told the Australians that the conservatives would be thrown out of government and the left agenda would prevail. Just the opposite actually happened.

Expect a similar outcome for our 2020 election.

Excellent. Australia seems sensible.

We have a start here, with the election of Trump. But we need to hope and make sure he gets support and is reelected by a huge margin.

Brexit, Trump, the Australian election not to mention Italy and all of Eastern Europe......the Gaia Worshiping, multi culti, identity politics global socialists have been consistently losing everywhere but Western Europe.

This, despite having near monopolies over the news media, big tech, Academia and the entertainment industry. Even with all that they’ve STILL consistently lost.

I am always about Australian politics, it being a nation much like Canada, relative same size with same political systems. Sometimes Australia goes off the deep end but kudos to fellow conservatives in Australia! We in Canada are jealous.

I am an Aussie shooter. I am not a semi-auto shooter. I like Levers and accurate bolts. I have owned my W94 since my first proper paycheck in 1976. Semi-autos are strictly controlled. So are WW2, Korean War and SVN War heirlooms that were spread 'round the country farms. And weapons such as actual surplus artillery. I had plenty semi and full auto experiences in the Army Reserves. There are large number of Aussie shooters who had the same experiences with spray and pray - semis are 'fun' but not so accurate. At over a dollar a cartridge, I like being accurate. I could DIY reload rounds, thats all legal, but ... nah.

Left wing American news media deliberately overstated the rifle and handgun situation in Australia, as a hit on the NRA etc. Just more Lying Leftist baseline behaviour.

I agree with the semi-auto and homemade weaponry cleanup. As usual, the criminal gangs have all the semis they need and rarely get busted. There was a case where criminals got a soldier to sell them merchandise - the crooks deal in millions of dollars.

After 9-11 WTC we got some serious airport security as well. I agree with that and we also got a national tightening up on sticks of explosive, fertiliser mix and detonators that some farmers had used for decades to blow stumps. The farm and mining-prospecting cleanup was slow. Its a big country. In 2007 they finally phoned a friend who had a 200acre "unimproved" place in the bush asking about a explosive purchase from a hardware store in 1999. He still had most of it. A fed made a time over a few weeks to visit him there and check it over. It was an entry in a database, thats all.

My son is working all this week in a big shed counting/checking the paper votes. Its a big contract (short term) employing loads of undergrads etc.

No electronic voting down here in Aussie. Zip. We have compulsory voting. Our soldiers, sailors and airmen died in sacrifice to ensure we remained free and if you do not vote in a government election, even for local governments, you pay the fine. The electoral roll has to be updated if you change address, just like other household documents. Or you are fined. People jump thru hoops to register their pets and their camper-trailers etc (don't get me started), but whinge about the Electoral Commission, a federal government department that handles all the elections.

If all the adults are voters it creates a aura of equality like nothing else. Its an equaliser. Some peeps don't like voting, don't like the fines, so they deliberately screw up their vote, but at least they "voted". Thats called an "informal" vote. Idiot element maybe, but there are some religious people who don't want anything to do with Caeser it seems. And then there's the voters who just fill in the ballot paper incorrectly.

So how many are "informal" altogether? About 4percent of 17million adults on the Roll. My son said he spent yesterday checking "dud" or "informal" votes. He said it obvious some senior citizens needed help to do the ballot correctly because many made mistakes. Now this is important when it comes to the "purple" contested seats, and this election, its so close to call a outright majority of seats in parliament - every vote is critical when 200 or 300 votes is the gap between the two opposing candidates.

Have a look at one of election results I'm talking about - a close contest. Its on the government website as they all are: http://tallyroom.aec.gov.au/HouseDivisionPage-24310-133.htm
