Audio: Mob with Hammers Descends on Minneapolis East Bank LRT Patrons

A mob of eight to 10 males wielding hammers descended upon bystanders at the East Bank Light Rail station on Friday night injuring several, according to recorded police dispatch audio.
The incident was apparently reported to 911 just before 10 p.m. on Friday according to the audio and other social media police scanner reports. A 9:48 p.m. Facebook post on 2nd Precinct Minneapolis Crime Watch page said that University of Minnesota (U of M) police were requesting assistance from Minneapolis police (MPD) and Metro Transit police for “a group of 8-10 males chasing people with hammers” and that some people were injured.

Don’t Mini-soda-ians have CCW permits? The skinnies wouldn’t last long in Michigan going after folks with hammers when every 10%-15% are packing.
Michigan's a 'stand your ground' state, and 1 out of every 6 to 10 people are concealed pistol licensees.
That's why these shenanigans don't happen in our state.

That's absolutely correct. I've worked with a fair number of Detroiters over the years and some will admit to having a CPL. Both whites and blacks.

This looks like it happened at a public mass transit facility.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think those are usually “No Self Defense” Zones. You are not allowed to have a weapon there.
I don’t know if the attack was staged, but I think the barbarians selected their target area accordingly.
The hammers aren’t “weapons” until they’re used as such, and can be discarded if the police show up. And, given Democrat / Islamist dominance of the area, the barbarians know the DA likely won’t prosecute even if they are arrested.

Wanna bet that it’s a “Weapons-Free” zone?
Even if someone had a CCW, they’d be in more trouble than the perps if they pulled it.
