BALTIMORE Heroin has ravaged this city since the early 1960s, fueling desperation and crime that remain endemic in many neighborhoods. But lately, despite heroins long, deep history here, users say it has become nearly impossible to find.

traffickers here and in Mexico can order fentanyl from China
Another justification for President Trump's trade war with China. Sad how the Democrats ignore that the Chinese are killing their constituents.

It’s all part of the plan to de industrialize the west and turn the idled workforce into drug addicts.

Personally I won’t even take aspirin unless I am in agony. Unfortunately taking strong pain killers such as fentanyl creates such intense feelings of euphoria that people’s brains get “re-wired” and decide that this chemical is critical to survival.
I tend towards a libertarian point of view in many things, but I think drugs such as fentanyl have to be kept off the streets, even if every single dealer has to be publicly executed to make that happen.

Whats the attraction to take a pain killer? The alleviation of stress, which is a powerful motivating force in persons who are inordinately subject to stress. Stress causes physical discomfort and is highly damaging to the organism. Its reduction becomes a form of pleasure, to which all organisms are naturally drawn.

It's an opioid, and it's more potent than any street heroin. Like heroin, it causes an intense short-term high and like heroin, it's highly addictive.
I have no idea what the answer is to the opioid crisis - these drugs are needed for people suffering serious pain (such as cancer patients), but they're seriously addictive. Apparently medicine has not found effective pain-relieving drugs that don't cause pleasure and are highly addictive.

Yes. And the Chinese know that they will fall into their hands like ripe fruit. Communists are not stupid.Soros Open Society. Conquer from within.

Sad how the Democrats ignore that the Chinese are killing their constituents. If they don't kill them in their mothers's wombs by abortion, they have ways to kill them later.

Good question. Every time Ive taken prescription pain meds I feel nauseous and loopy. I wouldnt describe it as enjoyable enough to repeat after the pain subsided

The flip side is that
somebody is being paid by the cartels to keep the borders open so that it's business as usual.
I'd love to round up the usual suspects, scrutinize their lifestyle and examine their tax returns to expose the inconsistencies.

And add to the above: to figure out how somebody in congress who makes less than $200,000 a year can amass estates/fortunes worth millions.

Chinas revenge for opium?
Bingo. They have long memories. People mocked LaRouche when he said the Queen Of England was the worlds biggest drug dealer. But he was only off by a century or so.
