I can’t have any thoughts on this since I don’t know what the conditions are.

There are also medical conditions that prevent people from keeping drivers licenses in the US.

It's the number right after 'Covfefe'.

https://www.strongtieinsurance.com/common-reasons-road-accidents/

*** Distracted Driving

Distracted driving is the most common cause of road accidents in the United States, resulting in more crashes every year than speeding, drunk driving, and other major accident causes.

Drivers can become distracted behind the wheel for a variety of reasons. Some of the leading causes of distracted driving accidents include using a cellphone while driving, as well as eating food or drinking from a mug or bottle while behind the wheel.

*** Speeding

Speeding is the second most common cause of road accidents in the United States. Since car and truck accidents that involve speeding typically occur at high speeds, it’s also a major cause of fatal road injuries.

Driving above the speed limit is a common practice for many motorists. It’s also illegal behavior that vastly increases the risk of losing control of a vehicle and causing an accident. The faster a vehicle travels, the longer it takes to slow down in the event of an obstacle.

Even a small increase in speed can result in a much higher risk of being involved in a collision or other type of accident. As such, it’s essential for motorists to be aware of the speed at which they’re traveling and stay within the legal limits.

It a number calculated using that New Math stuff everyone is talking about. Think of it this way. It’s like the number seven. But unlike the number seven, it’s an even number.

See? It’s not that hard to understand.

Meanwhile if you are confused about what sex you are you are perfectly ok to drive, no matter how much it puzzles you or how many hormonal treatments you endure.

Taking steroids (risk of roid rage) or hormonal upset at “that time of the month” also apparently not a concern.

I wonder if caffeine abuse is checked.

They should have failure to yield right of way in that list.

Whether it is running a traffic light/stop sign or speeding up when someone is entering a roadway or trying to merge, some drivers refuse to “surrender” to a car that is ahead of them.

Big Regulation causes severe accidents, and they are immune from prosecution.

Simple bad rules, such as no touching gadgets while driving, causes drivers to hide gadgets in their lap, looking down away from the road.

Instead of proudly aiming your mapping gadget, in front of you while looking at the road, hands free Regulation causes look away or look down driving.

When Dept of Transportation agents start going to prison, safety will return to the roads.

My smart phone’s in my hand at all times.
Parkinson’s.
I eat tacos while driving.
Vertigo.
Can’t read English.
Tourette’s

Thanks for the intelligent reply. Sadly, as usual the little children posting here do not have any such response, other than critiquing my mis-typing.

Those requirements seem reasonable to me. After a career in health care I can assure everyone that there are certain medical conditions that would call one’s ability to drive safely into question.
