A Lexington County, South Carolina woman is facing multiple charges in connection with an alleged home invasion that left an eight-year-old boy dead. The circumstances that led to this young lads untimely demise, however, remain a mystery.
Linda Lyn Monette, 23, of Lexington, S.C. was charged with drug possession in the immediate aftermath of the fatal shooting on Tuesday. Two days later, she was charged with obstruction of justice. On Saturday, she was charged with a host of fresh offenses including murder, attempted murder, burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Those charges appeared Saturday afternoon on the public index for the S.C. eleventh judicial circuit (which includes Edgefield, Lexington, McCormick and Saluda counties), however a few hours later they were no longer online.
Monette resided in the 112 Cedar Vale Drive home where eight-year-old Mason Hanahan (below) was shot and killed early Tuesday, May 14.
A standout youth baseball player, Hanahan was a second-grader at Oak Grove elementary school in Lexington who had dreams of playing third base in the major leagues one day.
According to the original narrative advanced by the Lexington County, S.C. sheriffs department, a masked man broke into the residence shortly after midnight on that date. Gunfire ensued (it is not entirely clear at this point who fired upon/ struck whom), and Hanahan was allegedly caught in the crossfire, according to a report from David Travis Bland of The (Columbia, S.C.) State newspaper.
The masked man fled the scene, prompting deputies to immediately seek community assistance related to his identity.
Detectives have recovered evidence indicating (the masked intruder) might have been shot in an exchange of gunfire with the man who lives in the home, a release from the sheriffs office noted. That man also suffered a gunshot wound that is not thought to be life-threatening.

Mason Hanahan was pronounced dead on Tuesday morning and the intruder is still at large
An 8-year-old South Carolina boy was shot and killed during a home invasion on Tuesday.
According to a news release from the Lexington County Sheriffs Office, the incident happened early Tuesday morning when a masked man broke into a familys home. The owner of the house exchanged gunfire with the intruder. At some point during the gunfight, 8-year-old Mason Hanahan was shot.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, they rushed Mason to a nearby hospital. According to a press release by the Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher, Mason was pronounced dead as the result of an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators say they are seeking community tips related to the identity of the masked man, who drove away from the scene after the gunfight. In the press release, police say that the intruder might have been shot during the gunfight.
The man who lived in the home, who is believed to be Masons father, suffered a gunshot wound that is not thought to be life-threatening, police say.
Were still working to piece the sequence of events together but getting a name on the man who fled the scene will be the most helpful to us, Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said in the press release. The death of the young child during this incident is tragic and our hearts go out to his family.

But all the interracial couples in tv advertising these days are in bliss with each other, doing great and not a care in the world. Maybe her buck was using her for other reasons?
This article sounds a lot like the guy down in Texas where the step daughter was “abducted by Mexicans”.
The bitch seems proud of herself in the mugshot.

Its almost like orders went out to the advertising agencies several months ago to implement this policy. Its clearly designed to influence young white girls to accept black boyfriends. Whence come such orders, enquiring minds want to know.
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A Lexington woman and a Columbia man have both been charged and made co-defendants in connection with a home invasion that led to the shooting death of a child earlier this week.
According to the Lexington County Sheriffs Department, Linda Lyn Monette, 23, who was in the home at the time of the crime, is charged with murder, attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, burglary and armed robbery, according to arrest warrants.
Monette was previously charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and obstruction of justice in connection with the incident.
Reynerio Rafael Romero Jr., 24, is charged with being an accessory to murder before the fact and criminal conspiracy, according to warrants.
Over the course of our investigation, weve gathered information indicating Monette actively conspired with Romero to plan and carry out the armed robbery in the 100 block of Cedar Vale Drive, Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said.
The plan was for someone to burglarize the home and take several pounds of marijuana, which was known to be in the residence.
Mason Hanahan, 8, was in the home and was shot. He later died at the hospital.

Romero and Monette are both being held in the Lexington County Detention Center, according to Koon. Both appeared in court on the new charges on Saturday and their bond was denied. They will both appear in general sessions court on June 27 at 9 a.m. ..."
Crazily enough, I think it became to get "trendy" or popular around the time of OJ.
Screwed up liberals push it everywhere. I think oddball liberal guys get turned on by the thought of it.
It’s only a matter of time before we see the same thing with homosexual couples and cross dressers. The time is coming.
If I understand correctly, Miss Monette was living with “Unnamed Man” in the house. Mason, the young boy, also lived there. Unnamed Man might be Mason’s father.
Miss Monette, who has a history of drug dealing, arranged with Mr. Romero to have him break in and steal marijuana, which was kept in the house where she was living with Unnamed Man and Mason.
It’s unclear who Mason’s mother is and where she fits into the picture, but it’s completely clear that Mason never really had a chance in life.
Thanks for posting. Condolences to family and friends of little innocent Mason Hanahan.
Well, I don’t feel so bad, ‘cause I’m confused as well.
The unnamed man is neither identified nor charged but Romero gets merely ‘attempted murder’ while Monette gets a murder rap and she didn’t even fire a weapon? Romero should have gotten murder and Monette charged with accessory to murder. Something stinks.
Sometimes I hate the media. Horrible reporting in this case.
Coming soon to a decaying society near you.
She will get a pussy pass, blame it all on the guy, the firearms company, whoever she can pin any srt of blame on.
