Scott Morrison, Australia’s conservative prime minister, won his first full term in office on Saturday, according to projections from Australia’s national broadcaster.
If the results hold, they would confound expectations that the country’s voters were ready for a change in course after six years of tumultuous leadership under his party. The polls had pointed to a loss for Mr. Morrison’s right-leaning coalition for months.
With a handful of seats still looking too close to call, it remained possible that Mr. Morrison would have to lead a minority government, rather than retaining outright control.
But whatever the eventual margin of victory, his coalition’s performance amounted to another swell in the wave of populist fervor that swept President Trump into office and set Britain on a path out of the European Union.

They were tumultuous. Morrison has only been PM for a few months displacing Malcolm Turnbull (Australia’s version of John McCain).
The Leftist NYT is quaking it fear at the thought that this will happen in the US in next year’s election, with President Trump winning re-election in spite of everything the Democrat media and pollsters can do.
And shortly before that we had Tony Abbot.

It’s going to be a razor thin win but we should take any victory with grace in these perilous times.
Most elections would flip conservative, if more conservatives bothered to vote.

Monday, October 21, 2019. A day to celebrate. The destruction of Canada’s economy under True-dope’s ‘sunny ways’ will end. An era of slightly more freedom under a Conservative government will arise. Though not very ‘conservative’, the Conservative Party of Canada is the best MAJOR Canadian political party there is currently available. In the next election after this one, hopefully the truly conservative party, the People’s Party of Canada, will be strong enough to hold the balance of power and push us to the centre, if not the right.
Well done, Australia! All over the world, the socialist/globalists have over played their hand. The PEOPLE are speaking now! Australia has re-elected a conservative government. Much of Europe is arising, standing against these socialists. The dawn is coming!
