Democrats Read the Sacred Text

RUSH: Well, just as I told you they were gonna do, they have started doing it. The Democrats have now begun their reading of the sacred text. The Democrats are now reading the Mueller report. Ha! There’s a special hearing in the House where they are actually reading the Mueller report. They began by reading the claim from the Mueller report that the Russians interfered in the 2016 election in sweeping form. So is that why Hillary won the popular vote by three million votes, that the Russians had something to do with that?

Did the Democrats ever stop to think of that? I mean, in the popular vote, Hillary Clinton wins by three million votes, and the Russians tampered. So what do we conclude from that? Democrats are trying for a do-over, and the White House counsel has told them to stuff it. (summarized) “You had 2-1/2 with this investigation, almost two years with the Mueller report. You don’t get to do it again. We’re not gonna play.” With that and the abortion bill in Alabama now sweeping into Missouri, Democrats are on the defensive, folks.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Grab sound bite 23 very quickly. This is Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon, Pennsylvania, reading from the Mueller report today as part of the Democrats’ 12-hour reading (chuckles) of the Mueller report. This is all that ever need be published. This is… Mueller didn’t need to publish anything besides this. We didn’t need to 488 pages of slander and innuendo. We didn’t need… We’ve also found out, by the way, that Mueller didn’t even do the hiring of his team, that it was Andrew Weissmann, who was Hillary’s number one ally on the Mueller team, donor.

Weissmann was at Hillary’s victory (ahem) party, and joined her in tears that night. This guy should have been nowhere near this! Andrew Weissmann, just based on his previous experiences in the Enron task force, should have been nowhere near any investigation of Donald Trump. He’s a Hillary Clinton donor, fundraiser, and partisan, and he’s the one that hired the investigators! Mueller was, I guess, a figurehead for most of this. At any rate, this is the only thing from the Mueller report that matters…

SCANLON: “The investigation did not establish that the Trump campaign coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

RUSH: And that’s it! “The investigation didn’t…” And there wasn’t an investigation. I know I keep undercutting my own premise by acknowledging this dossier and this report, but you got deal with the way people are reacting to it. If people think it was a legitimate investigation, you gotta talk about it in that context. It wasn’t a legitimate investigation. It was a coup. But, anyway, that’s what Mueller said.

“The investigation did not establishment that the Trump campaign coordinated with the Russian government in the Russian government’s election interference activities.” That’s all that report needed to say.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: When it came time for Jerry Nadler to read (laughing) his portion of the Mueller report (laughing), do you know what he read? Do we have the sound bite? (interruption) We do. Yeah, sound bite number 24. Go ahead. This is Nadler. It’s his turn on it read the Mueller report. This is what he chose to read…

NADLER: The IRA begins to consolidate U.S. operations within a single general department known internally as the Translator Department. Redacted. IRA subdivided the Translator Department into different responsibilities, ranging from operations on different social media platforms, to analytics, to graphics, and IT. Redacted, redacted, redacted, redacted —

RUSH: (laughing)

NADLER: — redacted, redacted, redacted, redacted, redacted, redacted.

RUSH: Ha-ha-ha! Chairman Nadler chose to read the redacted portion, no doubt to make the point that the Mueller report is incomplete. (sigh)

THe truth is the dems are pissed, they wont admit it but there is no possible way trump won.People were paid, they planted more than enough votes in key districts hillary should have won by a sizable margine. No way Trump could have won! The dems NEED TO find out who screwed them and take care of them.

never mind the truth is trump actually won by a sizable margine if you only counted legit votes. but theres no way there could be that many deplorables.. no way!!

.........................................................

I wanna know about the illiterate dims in the house, it’s so unfair if they don’t get a turn at reading aloud.

Down right discriminatory!

Are they going to jeer, make noise and otherwise carry on every time Trump’s name is mentioned? The whole thing sounds like the reading of the Book of Esther at Purim, when children are encouraged to make loud noises whenever Haman’s name is mentioned. However, there are many in Congress who think that he was the hero of the story.

So the whole thing was initiated mainly to cover Mrs. Bill's derriére and secondarily for revenge.

No, the whole thing was initiated mainly to cover the CIA and FBI's collective butts.

They were spying on the Trump campaign since the spring of 2016, expecting to find dirt that could be used against Trump in the campaign.

When they didn't find any, and President Trump won, they panicked and got Sleepy Jeff to recuse so Rosenstein could appoint Mueller. They thought that with unlimited funds and unlimited intelligence assets, Mueller could uncover enough wrongdoing by Trump to have him impeached. But again they couldn't find any.

When Trump forced Sessions to resign, and appointed Barr as Attorney General, Barr took over the oversight of the Mueller investigation from Rosenstein, and Mueller knew the gig was up. So he wrote his report that exonerated President Trump, but also included all of the unrelated material embarrassing to Trump in the process (Trump reportedly said "I'm F**ked" when he heard a special counsel was appointed. Why in the world was that included in the Mueller Report, other than to simply embarrass the President?)

The next phase will be Inspector General Horowitz's report on the abuse of the FISA process, and that's when the heads begin to roll, beginning with Comey's.

The Republicans are not spiteful whiny babies, but maybe they should hold a hearing and read the full IG’s report.

Sacred text? Mueller report? lol

In the beginning there was the ‘Dossier’ and Comey attested that it was factual and accurate and good. Other mighty ones concurred. Then Comey said “Let there be an investigation”, so the holy Mueller was summoned...

It could state that ‘There was absolutely no collusion on the part of the President or anyone in his campaign and he definitely did not obstruct justice in any way’ and Nadler would still try to keep it going. It’s all he has in this world, him and other democrats.
