It's the rich who drive this economy.

I live here in the swamp in DC. The rich here don't drive the economy. They skim the economy and flow a sufficient percentage back to the politicians to keep the game going.

Capitalism and crony capitalism are two very different things. Build a business selling goods and services into the free market - no argument however rich you get. Build a business doing well by doing not much except buying politicians - well that's a different story.

You just happened to pick a corrupt place to live. I know a few rich people and none of them attend political events. One friend employs over 150 people...they do drive the economy. For those who do play the system, is that their fault or the fault of the politicians who let it be known that they can be bought?
