BOOM! Joe diGenova: For the First Time I Believe These Guys are Going to Jail… This is Big Time!
GATEWAY PUNDIT ^ | 5/14/2019 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 05/14/2019 10:12:07 PM PDT by bitt

On Tuesday night Joe diGenova joined Laura Ingraham on the Ingraham Angle to discuss the latest development in the spygate scandal that Bill Barr appointed US Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion probe.

Joe-diGenova did not hold back. The former US Attorney for Washington DC told Laura and her audience that Comey and Brennan are in serious trouble and better be lawyered up.

Joe diGenova: This is very serious business. For the first time I believe some of these guys are going to prison… Let me tell you something, Horowitz has already concluded that the final three FISAs were completely illegal. He’s now on the brink of finding that the first FISA was completely illegal. Durham has already used a grand jury in Connecticut. They’ve already gotten documents. He’s already talked to the intel people.

Laura Ingraham: How long has this been going on?

Joe diGenova: Durham’s been working for a couple months. The bottom line is this. This is now – big time! This is where Brennan needs five lawyers. Comey needs five lawyers.

Still waiting on DiGenova to deliver on his first prediction from a few weeks back...

OBastard and the she-devil won’t ever go to prison. A hand full of others will take the fall.

Levin is Baker’s attorney and is stating why Baker will not answer the Committee’s questions.

Valerie Jarrett will be welcomed back to her native Iran...

During the Pahlavi era.

Her dad, a doctor, went to Iran on a U.S. medical aid program after finishing his military service in the U.S. They spent a few years there before moving back to the U.S., where he put together a pretty distinguished career.

If ValJar had a trace of wit, she could have turned the whole born-in-Iran thing to great advantage by observing that, had they still been there by the time of the revolution, they would probably have been imprisoned as American spies or arrested as Pahlavi loyalists, and she might be wearing a bag over her head today. She could do the "thank God for coming back to America" thing, except that she chose the hate America track instead.

“How can Durham already have a Grand Jury after being appointed only days ago?”

His appointment was just released/leaked in the press. Normally, investigations are supposed to be conducted confidentially, to not alert the suspects, and to protect those who are ultimately not charged.

If the DoJ IG (Horowitz) uncovered credible indications of a crime during his investigation, DoJ policy is that it should be immediately referred to a prosecutor, and not wait until the IG investigation, or report, is finished.

The prosecutor would then confidentially investigate, convening a grand jury if needed, to obtain search warrants or indictments (although judges can also approve search warrants). So for all we (should) know, prosecutors have had investigations underway for months or years.

When James Wolfe was indicted for leaking from the Senate Intelligence Committee in May 2018, it was the first public indication. But the indictment revealed that search warrants (for electronic communications) had been executed on him (and others) in 2017.

There are so many negative Nelles on FR these days that I almost don’t want to read the posts!

For all the naysayers: This is the Trump administration and President Trump is not a swamp creature like the other administrations before him who would have let justice slide.

And Papadopoulos was on Maria’s show a good 1/2 hour or more yesterday morning.......they walked through his part second by second!

I do believe they are doing this to remind......or INSTRUCT ( for those who haven’t been paying attention the past 2 years).....
....of the seriousness of the crimes.......that there ARE crimes.....
....so they won’t be surprised when the hammer comes down

But for those of us who have been wholly involved in every detail of this.....for those 2 + years...
..we are saying.....HOW LONG.....HOW MUCH LONGER TILL JUSTICE!!!!

At my Republican Women’s meeting, I was sitting at a table ( in a large room of full tables)with 4 other ladies......they were pretty informed at different levels, but as much as we all wanted to see justice, I seemed to be the only one who believed it would happen.....(sad)

The look on Congressman Jim Jordans’s face, after DiGenova says that Durham has already been working for a couple of months, is priceless (4:37).

His mouth is hanging open. Seems like he was impressed with the implication that this investigation is serious, and that indictments could be imminent.

Earlier, DiGenova says that that US Attorney Durham had already been working with a grand jury, and that he had already gotten documents. That could mean charging documents, AKA, indictments.

At the very least, freeze and drain their finances for legal expenses. Tit for tat.

Yawn....No more stories until accompanied by pictures of coup members hauled away in handcuffs, please.

It's beginning to look like the only way they'll go to jail is if they paid someone to get their kids into college.

Cardinal Comey had better make sure his passport and shots are up to date.

The way he has been popping off; no lawyer can go back rewind, and make it go away.

The Cardinal has been clotheslining himself all along.

The first argument his battalion of lawyers will make is that he can’t get a fair trial.

All of these people, Hillary, BHO, ValJar, the Cardinal, Brennan, Clapper, Rice, et al; are small fry. All of them.

They’re nothing but puppets. They’re too stupid to be real players.

Fortunately, their stupidity combined with extraordinary hubris will make them fairly easy to topple.

Then we get to see what President Trump and AG Barr are really made of. Thus far, our President appears to be fearless.

If the Attorney General is made of similarly stern stuff, we could begin to see some rea fireworks.

Just keep in mind that those who fancy themselves to be big shots, ie BHO, Hillary, and the rest of the America haters are entirely fungible and will be quickly replaced if the Swamp is only partially drained.

It must have been Sessions who appointed Durham since Barr wasn’t appointed until Feb. 2019

After many decades of exposure to talking heads, my mind auto-translates 'BOOM' into 'pffht' (like a weak fart) and assumes nothing is actually happening until something does.

Regarding waiting … you are right. If things are going as Joe D. said, then 1. Horowitz is about to put out a report that all FOUR FISAs were illegal; i.e, improperly obtained. 2. The new (special?) prosecutor has a grand jury looking at this in Conn. and 3. Brennan, Clapper and Comey are in the crosshairs.

If all true, then one of these will break to save his skin and the direction will be upward … Clinton, Jarrett, Yates, Powers, etc. And of course, in this case, Jarrett = Obama.

"But will the higher level complicit criminals see justice?"

Only if they watch it on TV or YouTube. TV is apparently where Obama learns a lot about hot-button issues...

"What’s most interesting about that is, Republican voters don’t care if the perpetrator is a Republican. We tend to have standards and expect our elected representatives to uphold those standards."

I tend to agree with your contention. Too bad everyone doesn't feel this way.
