Attorney General John Yoo told Fox News's Laura Ingraham Monday night.
And the reason why is, by appointing a U.S. attorney, Attorney General Barr is essentially signaling that he thinks it's possible that criminal violations occurred in the start of the whole investigation into any kind of Trump-Russian collusion.
As Judge Barr said, there is already an inspector general investigation that's going to come to a conclusion. That's what you would do if you were just interested in reforming the way the department does things, the way decisions were made.
But you wouldn't go with a U.S. Attorney like Durham, someone of his stature, unless the attorney general thinks actually something criminal might have happened, that someone might have violated the law, that there might have been malfeasance, that people at the FBI or the justice department were acting out of partisan motives, not just out of incompetence or stupidity or they were duped by the Russians or Steele or the English or by the Clinton campaign.
So if you are a Democrat, I think you would be really worried to see the appointment of a career prosecutor like this. Last month, Attorney General William Barr told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee, "Yes, I think spying did occur" on the Trump campaign.

And, unless the magic negro is shielded from any and all repercussions, I would expect Congress to even pass laws rescinding the laws the perps broke.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Sunday shows
should be fun.
From what I have read on other threads, Durham is the right person to conduct the criminal investigation. Time will tell.
Rutroh Scooby!
Ya think?
Everyone else has disappointed us, I PRAY that this one doesn’t!!
Anyone who comes under investigation even if innocent, has to be worried, since others interviewed by prosecutors can lie about you to save themselves from investigations of crimes they commited that are not related to what you are being investigated for.
It is going to cost you money and time to defend yourself, and put your friends and relatives through a legal grinder. - Tom
Huber been on the case for two years. He didn’t interview a soul, but he certainly thought about doing something.
Everything sounds encouraging, however I hope the new person to look into this was not appointed to reject providing materials to congressional committees and Freedom of Information requests because of an active investigation.
Once bitten, twice shy. My enthusiasm is on hold, until indictments drop.
And yes I know all the positive reasons to believe something might happen but I have been around before mysterious files showed up magically on a Clinton file cabinet and Vince Foster killing himself (???) shortly after. I watched decades float by full of the Clinton’s getting away with literally murder.
It is not going to be possible to prosecute Obama.
Has an one heard anything for Obama lately????
Barr is simply doing what Mueller did by handing off a bunch of his investigation to the Southern District of New York federal agents. If Dems can use federal agents to look for any Trump crimes, then Barr can use one to investigate real evidence of Dem crimes.
Hes wise to lay low.
However. Prosecuting the last President will ring a bell that cant be un-rung.
Shaggy. (since Scooby says it)
Do you really think Southern District New York is “not” extremist social-communist (er, democrat. )?
My feeling is that if Democrats are tossed into jail, it will help them connect with their voter base.
Why is that?
Pretty soon, all the FLeepers and “I’ll believe it when I see it” crowd will get to give it a rest.
As a Ill believe it when I see it Freeper, I hope you’re right.
