RUSH: Have you heard of that website Watts Up With That? It’s a website you go to when you ask somebody anything, and it has answers for oddball, screwy things, surveys and so forth. Back on May 6th, a week ago, here’s the headline. “Empirical Study: Indoctrinated U.S. Climate Activist Kids can Be Used to Influence their Conservative Parents.” Are you not…? Did you see this? This is a group of people that attempted to get a bunch of kids of conservative parents and propagandize them with a bunch of climate change data and then told them to go try to, essentially, convince their parents of it.
And they found out that it worked, that it was successful. Now, I’m giving you the bare bones of this. “According to the abstract this propaganda technique, indoctrinating children with educational material deliberately designed to help them influence parents, is particularly effective on conservative men when the influencer is their daughter.” Do you remember the number of times I’ve told you conservative friends of mine who we’ve lost after their kids have gone away to college and they come home?
Well, here is the empirical proof of it.
Rush certainly doesn’t know what Wattsupwiththat is all about. It’s only the world’s most popular web site giving factual information about ‘Climate Change’. It’s dominated by global warming skeptics, but usually gives scientific information on both sides of the issue.

ANY conservative parent who lets their LIEberal (HOWINHELL did that happen???) “flip” them to LIEberal should be ashamed of themselves!
The only LIEberal (my younger brother) in my family is shunned!

You can't always blame the parent. Kids make their own choices. And shunning doesn't necessarily help the kid or turn him around.
My daughter has a big liberal streak in her. She didn't get that from me. Maybe her mom's side. Definitely some from schooling. But what I did try to teach her was to consider all sides of an issue. To think on her own.
She scored 35 on her ACT. She's smart. She will eventually figure it out. In the meantime she knows where I stand and why. And she still talks to me about issues, even if she doesn't agree with me. That's the only way I will win her over.
I won't ever shun her.
We’ve run into this personally. My eldest child gets a lot of liberal propaganda in English class. It is part of their “critical thinking / nonfiction analysis”.
They showed an hour and a half of global warming propaganda in one movie, hour of another. In the name of equal time, they showed 2 PragerU (conservative) videos. Dennis Prager’s videos are about 5 minutes each.

My conservative kids are great! Daughter is 51, son is 48, and they are doing well.
Unfortunately, they live in Kali-Fornia, and are vastly outnumbered!
Both of them grew up in a conservative household, and we did have problems FRom time to time because their LIEberal teachers attempted, unsuccessfully, to steal them away.
Conservatism, with the help of an expensive pre-1964, pre-PC Encyclopedia Britannica, ultimately prevailed: Whenever the teacher sent them home with some BS tale that they challenged me with, I made them use the encyclopedia and proved their teacher wrong. You would not believe the knock-down drag-outs we had!
I don’t think a conservative, non-PC encyclopedia is available nowadays.
I’d wager the two 5 minute Prager videos absolutely destroyed the LIEberal crap they were shown!
The tragic comedy was the teacher’s argument that 2 PragerU videos were equal to 2 hour plus climate change propaganda videos. “I showed 2!”
Even the teacher admitted that the 2 Prager videos were equivalent!
