Time to buy a generator. We have one of my husband’s work site diesel trailer generators for the ranch and there’s been times when we’ve needed it for several days at a time.
It’s best to be prepared.
When I worked in third-world countries in the 1970s, their "normal" was for power to be on for a few hours every day.
I am so happy that the U.S. is regressing to what was normal 45 years ago in poverty stricken, developing nations.
Yaaaaaay!!
California probably has noise ordinances, especially in the San Francisco-San Jose Bay Area, which prevent the use of a generator.
“Time to buy a generator.”
We’ve had one for years. This reminds me that I need to start it up and make sure it’s ready for the summer.
Californians have been living in a leftist bubble for 30 years or more.
Its time to return to reality.
Ohhhh no no no. Its California, generators arent GREEN.

I dont think Id like to be in Californias third world neighborhoods with no lights and no gun.
Cant wait to see them dancing in the streets in celebration after days without electricity coming from those mean, bad, Mother Earth murdering, fossil fuel power plants.
Good to see Bloomberg hasn’t figured out Outline yet. Wall ST Journal and Barrons have.
...and the one’s who ARE ‘ready’ are going to have a new 24/7 job:
Defending what IS there’s using their state-govt permitted pea shooters and spitballs
California is my newest must to avoid travel destination
This is the new normal.
In socialist hellholes like Venezuela and Calizuela.

I installed a full house, full service propane fired system a few years ago and have been glad ever since, especially when there was a tornado that knocked out power for about two days. Of course, the hilarious part of this article is the bit about solar/battery powered systems, a 9 kw version of which will cost about $16,000, minimally power a 2,100 sq. ft. house for 8 to 12 hr. per day, and run for only about a week. An automatic propane fired system that would do far more would cost far less.
In 2006 we had an ice storm. We were without power for 17 days.
That it is, although wouldn't you know it...Kali has a separate set of rules from the rest of the country and the generator has to be CARB Compliant. (California Air Resources Board). Or, yup, they'll fine you.
You’re doing a lousy job, Newsome.
