Exactly. They voted for socialism, so if they want out of it, it’s on them to get out. If Venezuela were ripe for revolution, the people and the military would’ve turned out a couple weeks ago by the millions.

Good point...more needs to be known about this guy. Is he seeking to restore freedom and constitutional government to the people of Venezuela or is he just wanting to be in charge? If the former, he has his work cut out for him as the military is not listening to him and he was the constitutionally installed President - they still take orders from the man the legislature removed from his office...can’t say removed “from power” as he still has it.

The operative word being THEY. Them, not us, not the US. The most should do is supply THEM with the arms necessary to re-assert the consent of the governed.
If the USA intervenes WE will end up fixing it for them, and we will end up with another intractable mess. If anyone should be going in there is should be the Brazilians and the Columbians. Not the USA.
Actually, I’ve heard it said that Guaido is a social democrat-basically, he’s all for capitalism, with a welfare state government to use the money from it for social benefits. All things considered, he might well be the best possible option in that country. Also, Hugo Chavez won his first election legally, but there’s reason to believe that he won the second with fraud.
Exactly right. Those who want freedom need to fight for it and get it for themselves.. True freedom is not acquired at the cost of others bloodshed.
As much as Maduro needs to go, so does Socialism in Venezuela. When the Venezuelan people stop voting for one form of socialism over another and really want to be free they'll take matters into their own hands and do what our country did in 1776.
Not one single drop of precious American blood should ever be spilled in a Socialist country.

Yes. As KT McFarland told Varney, “These people need to own their revolution”. I figure if they do it themselves they’ll appreciate freedom more and take bigger risks to maintain it.
