We are just the frogs being boiled slowly. By the time America wakes up, it will be too late.

That is a close call. Apparently, there is no persuasive laboratory evidence that frogs overwhelmingly accept such a fate.

When I selected my screen name 15 years ago, based largely on my dissatisfaction with 12 years of Clinton, I had in mind that the frog was more likely to jump out of the pot somewhat pissed. It is possible, of course, that I was simply projecting.
