1. Wait for the police to rescue you.
2. Run away or hide.
3. Intervene (preferably with your firearm).
I support positive action, not fear or complacency.
The kids have a stark choice to make in these cases. Help may not come for several minutes, in which time many students are going to die. The only ones who have a chance to stop a shooter are the ones in the nearest vicinity.
