He’s had many very serious health problems, including prostate and intestinal cancer. Yes, he looks pretty darned good for an 85-year-old, amd his mind is as sharp as ever. Perhaps his early years as an athlete helped him last this long.
That said, free speech is quite different from free publication. A problem the publishers like Facebook should have to deal with. They publish, or allow Farrakhan to publish on their platform, they own it. And Facebook should be condemned for who they allow, and ban, from publishing.
I agree with you about the church. Facebook is basically holding itself out as a public forum. Churches, on the other hand, do not purport to be a forum for all points of view and have no obligation to invite anyone to speak, especially someone with F’s loathsome ideas.
No Rev. Pfleger is a longtime radical. Most who know his name get that, though some may agree. Like the Berrigan brothers from Milwaukee. Crazies in flyover country too.
