The founding fathers despised royalty and the airs of the European aristocrats and elites. They envisioned an egalitarian society.

Fast forward to the present time. We have an entrenched aristocracy ruling us. They are the graduates of the Ivy League schools and a few other elitist universities such as Stanford, Duke, Tufts, University of Chicago. The Ivies own the Supreme Court. They dominate the largest corporations, banks, academia, journalism, and the upper echelons of the entrenched government bureaucracy.
