“C’est tout?”

It is just one (very good) day’s dump. More than Congress authorized for the whole year ($1.375 billion), and on top a billion several weeks ago.

More is on the way. They have not yet touched the $3.6 billion in MILCON money (which will probably trigger nuisance lawsuits).

Looks like a new contract (W9126G-19-D) may have been established on Wednesday (8 May). Maybe this will be used to compete the recently rescinded award in Yuma (due to protest). It can use either DHS or DoD funding.

$5 billion dollar cap task order contract, just for California and Arizona. The pre-screened competitors are:

BFBC, Bozeman, Montana
Texas Sterling Construction Co., Houston, Texas
Bristol Construction Services LLC,* Anchorage, Alaska Burgos Group LLC,* Albuquerque, New Mexico
Gibraltar-Caddell JV, Montgomery, Alabama
Fisher Sand & Gravel, Dickinson, North Dakota
Southwest Valley Constructors Co., Albuquerque, New Mexico Randy Kinder Excavating Inc.,* Dexter, Missouri Martin Brothers Construction,* Sacramento, California
SLSCO Ltd., Galveston, Texas
Posillico Civil Inc. Coastal Environmental Group Inc., Farmingdale, New York
CJW JV, Santa Ana, California
