Talks with China continue in a very congenial manner - there is absolutely no need to rush - as Tariffs are NOW being paid to the United States by China of 25% on 250 Billion Dollars worth of goods & products. These massive payments go directly to the Treasury of the U.S.......
....The process has begun to place additional Tariffs at 25% on the remaining 325 Billion Dollars. The U.S. only sells China approximately 100 Billion Dollars of goods & products, a very big imbalance. With the over 100 Billion Dollars in Tariffs that we take in, we will buy.....
....agricultural products from our Great Farmers, in larger amounts than China ever did, and ship it to poor & starving countries in the form of humanitarian assistance. In the meantime we will continue to negotiate with China in the hopes that they do not again try to redo deal!
Tariffs will bring in FAR MORE wealth to our country than even a phenomenal deal of the traditional kind. Also, much easier & quicker to do. Our Farmers will do better, faster, and starving nations can now be helped. Waivers on some products will be granted, or go to new source!

Ultimately the FREE MARKET will rule in Wall Street, unless the globalist FED joins forces with globalist influences on Wall Street (financial markets) to tank the stock market and the economy.

It appears that he is already counting the revenue from the NEXT round of tariffs (the big one) to get to that number. Maybe he is just trolling the Chinese negotiators, or maybe he is signalling that he does intend to levy that next round as well.
I anticipate that he will, and the communist economy is in for a big let down this year.
I anticipate that he will eventually levy the full 25% across the board on all communist Chinese imports, for National Security reasons, as well as economic reasons. It is an elegant solution to our main strategic threat (as formally identified in our National Security Strategy).
Instead of paying a huge Military price later, he will take away their resources now, and make money doing it.
You are completely wrong.
The 25% tariffs imposed are a China Tax paid by American consumers on products purchased from China. Americans pay all of the 25% and china pays not a single dime.
The revenue Trump is promoting is a pure tax on american consumers.
China merchants pay nothing. If Americans purchase the china products at the tarrifed price, the china merchant benefits and the trade imbalance continues at the rate as before.
