Sri Lankan immigration authorities revealed this week that nearly 50 foreigners without valid visas are among the hundreds deported by the South Asian island nation in the wake of the Islamic State (ISIS)-linked attack that primarily attacked Christians on Easter Sunday.
On Wednesday, Sri Lankas News 1st learned from a spokesperson for the countrys Immigration and Emigration Department that a total of 48 foreigners without valid visas have been deported from the island nation.
The media spokesperson added that further investigations are underway to arrest individuals without visas, the Sri Lankan news outlet noted.
News 1sts report came after Sri Lankas Home Affairs Minister Vajira Abeywardena revealed on Sunday that immigration authorities had recently removed 200 Islamic clerics from the country over concerns that they could potentially radicalize locals.
According to the National from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the clerics are among more than 600 foreign nationals Sri Lanka is expected to deport in the wake of the Easter attacks for having expired visas.
It is unclear whether or not the 600 figure includes the 48 who were recently deported.
News 1st cited Gayan Milinda, a spokesperson for Sri Lankas immigration authorities, as noting that a total of 108 foreigners who overstayed their welcome were arrested, including the 48 who were subsequently deported.
As far as the nationality of the deportees, Milinda only said eight of 13 foreigners arrested in the past week are Pakistani nationals.
The United States and some of Pakistans neighbors have repeatedly accused Islamabad of harboring Islamic terrorists.
Sri Lankan authorities reportedly believe one of the top jihadis behind the attack trained in India, which allegedly warned the island nation of potential attacks.
Marking one of the deadliest jihadi assaults on Easter, ISIS-linked terrorists affiliated with the local jihadi outfit National Thowheed Jamaath (NTJ)

When I pull dandelion weeds, I don’t throw them into my neighbor’s lawn; I make sure they are properly disposed of and composted.
Fifty does not constitute “mass” deportation. If Sri Lanka wants to return to peace with its Moslems ALL the resident Mohammedans must be deported, or rather, using the older term-expelled. It doesn’t matter to Sri Lanka where they go. They can float around on the Indian Ocean. But they should ALL be pushed out of Sri Lanka. Other nations that wish to preserve their futures as something other than third world arid lands or lands constantly divided by mayhem and massacre must expel their Mussulmans. Israel should expel the Philistines and Canaanites from the Philistine Coast and from Judea and Samaria.
England needs to follow suit. They ALL have to go.
This mass muslim deportation will just serve as an excuse for muzzies to commit an atrocity elsewhere on this planet.
And the vicious cycle continues as long as there are muzzies in this world.
“immigration authorities had recently removed 200 Islamic clerics from the country over concerns that they could potentially radicalize locals.”
That is the way it should be done, because such “clerics” are how the islamists radicalize locals. It is how they are doing it in Europe and the USA.
Muslim kids going to the mosques and Madrssas in the West are MORE radical than their parents who migrated from muslim countries, because Western mosques and madrasas are almost entirely staffed from radical islamist sources.
We should follow Sri Lanka’s example, and send those rabble rousers back to their home countries, where local dictators usually know how they should be dealt with.
I sometimes wonder what the world would be like if Mohammed’s parents had never met.
Would it be more peaceful, or would the world have gotten someone just as bad or worse?
Anyway, it seems that only religion that has had issues with EVERY other religion is Islam. May be a drum circle or an anger management class would help.
England must now do whatever Meghan Markle wants.
I’m mostly joking. Mostly.
They will already commit them if offered an excuse or not. It’s like these bombings: they weren’t in response to Christchurch because it takes a lot of planning to pull them off. People should just accept that Islam crates Jihadis and not worry about what happens elsewhere, just rid themselves of every Muslim in their own midst that they lawfully can.
Remember, if Mohammad had never been the demons he listened to would have still existed, the culture he lived if would have still been pagan and ripe for a false prophet, and his associates could have easily included a different version of him.
And that's the way it will always be, since doing what your supernatural being wants trumps everything else. - Tom
Never mind them letting their charity be heavily influenced by a Organization for Dandelion Cooperation, the second largest interweed organization after the United Lawns.
Burma expelled over 700,000 Muslims over a period of a few weeks, after they finally had enough.
The U.S.A. needs to follow suit. They ALL have to go.
I’m probably happier not knowing the answer to this question, but...
Deporting them to WHERE?
Ii have been following the Burma operation with a bit of a smile on. The killings seem a bit egregious but I really don’t know what sort of resistance the Burmese army is meeting. I know the problems got noticeable when the Mohammedans started raiding the infidel villages in the neighborhood and got some totally unexpected tit for their tat from the Buddhist villagers who are supposedly passive and will just take it. They all originated in Bangla Desh anyway. They needed/need to go home.
I presume deported to whatever s---hole country they came from.
As opposed to what Burma did to expel their 700K, which was to let them know their choices were: "You can leave. Or you can die."
Same choices a former coworker got from Idi Amin...
Well at least they are getting rid of a lot of them. We have two terrorist supporting Muslim bitches in The very halls of Congress.
