Cornell Muslim Students Demand More Prayer Rooms
Muslim students at Cornell already have two dedicated prayer rooms, one for men, and one for women. No other religious group appears to have received this special accommodation.
Catholics have only one.
Anabel Taylor Hall Chapel Meditation Room inside Anabel Taylor Hall Chapel Sage Chapel Purcell Courtyard between Myron Taylor Hall and Anabel Taylor Hall Catholic students Blessed Sacrament Chapel in 227 Anabel Taylor Hall Muslim students Muslim Prayer Rooms for males in 218 Anabel Taylor Hall and for females in 219 Anabel Taylor Hall No rooms for Jewish or Buddhist students are listed. But its not enough.
Its never enough.
For the Muslim community at Cornell this year, this years final weeks will be more complicated than usual. For only the second time since 1989, Ramadan a month-long holy period that requires adherents to avoid eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset will coincide with the exam period.
This is a non-issue, as the article later admits, because students can apply for a change of schedule, and by law, they have to be granted it.
The article then pivots to its real issue. More Islamic spaces.
In addition to dining and testing, Muhamad highlighted a lack of reflective-quiet spaces to facilitate prayer on campus as an area for improvement.
One of the things that I could change about the campus is to include more space rooms on campus for Muslims to pray, he said.
As weve just seen there are 6 spaces, two dedicated only to Muslims.
But its never enough.
The beauty of Christianity is I can pray anywhere, anytime. No special rooms needed.
Why arent the Christian kids asking for more on campus chapels? If I were at college today, Id match their demands step for step.
prayer rooms = planning rooms, rape rooms, etc...
There are plenty in Saudi Arabia. Go there.

Christianity: Separation of Church and State!!
Islam: Diversity!!
maybe the Cornell chapter of the ACLU will tell them to shut up about any religious beliefs at school
and when they are done, a nice little victory mosque
Muslims want to use Christian chapel : Yes because Diversity
Christians want to use Muslim chapel : No because Diversity
I prefer a previous thread - “Secret U. S. Missile Aims to Kill”.....for their solution. Cornell has a beautiful campus, a beautiful location but perhaps to save it, we have to destroy it first - from somewhere in our history!
I used to work directly across the street from the Anabel Taylor Hall - at that time it was pretty unique. It was built with an altar for Christian worship that could be turned around and used for Jewish services.
No because why would a Christian want to use a space where satan is worshipped?
Too bad their allah can only hear at certain times of the day, as if he could hear at all.
27 And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.
Love that passage.
Nice to see Leftists provided segregated male and female prayer rooms also.
“Christianity: Separation of Church and State!!
Islam: Diversity!!”
Isn’t that the truth!
Thanks for all of your posts.
Jihad
The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting. Majid Khadduri

JIhadis have made tremendous gains around the world and in the U.S.A. since 911.
Witness current events.
Civilizations gains???...not so much. The barbarian collective roams the planet freely.
Use restroom stalls.
What about more sinks so they can wash their feet?
