Population Control Activist Paul Ehrlich: Human Extinction if People Don’t Have Fewer Children
Lifenews ^ | 5/6/19 | Michael Bastasch

CNN interviewed discredited environmental catastrophist Paul Ehrlich in its coverage of the United Nations’ latest warning of ecological collapse due to human activities and climate change.

Humanity will need to start “consuming less, polluting less and having fewer children” if it’s going to stop mass extinction in the coming decades, CNN correspondent Nick Watt said summarizing the U.N. report, which was released Monday.

Ehrlich, a Stanford University professor, told CNN he was “pessimistic” that countries could solve predicted ecological disaster in part because of President Donald Trump pledging to leave the Paris climate accord.

This stupid ass already wrote a stupid ass book. Would you want all the craftsmen showing up at your house being 50+ years old? Fine if it’s a small repair. Charge what you want but what if it’s construction?

The people who should control births don’t read your books Paul. They don’t read English

He’s still alive?

He told us back in the 1960s that we’d starve to death by the 1980s if we didn’t stop having children.

And yet he’s still at it, still has a teaching job, despite having been proven ridiculously wrong?

It seems the western countries are already controlling their populations. I say we go after the Mid-east, North African countries, and Asia (in general).

Something wrong with the reasoning here. If you want to avoid extinction you need to have more children. The American bison would be completely extinct if they had had a few thousand fewer calves back in the day. It seems to me the ones living now owe their existence to excessive procreation when there were so many of them.

Ehrlich is hoping everyone will forget how wrong he was 50 years ago in 1969 when he said complete environmental collapse would occur by 1990.

He’s like all the adolescents from California: they insist vehemently that they’re right over and over like angry children, long after they’ve been proven wrong.

I don’t agree with him that we face extinction. But I think 335 million is enough. I don’t aspire to be India or China.

If overpopulation was such a huge problem, they’d also target Sub-Saharan Africa. More than a handful of those nations have over 100 million plus populations.

He’s right but his target audience should be India, all Spanish speaking countries in the America’s, Muslims everywhere, and the Chinese. None of them will listen though.

White middle class families are not over populating. Generally the opposite.

It’s the poor, who can’t afford children, who keep popping them out like it’s a competition.

I know. Global cooling is going to be a real b*tch.

“Many observers have speculated that the cooling could be the beginning of a long and persistent trend in that direction—that is, an inevitable departure from an abnormally warm period in climatic history.” – Paul and Anne Ehrlich and John Holdren. Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment (1977), p. 686.

All Western nations with the exception of the United States are in a demographic collapse. Greece and Russia are doomed. Neither will be able to replace their existing populations as they have aged to the point where their populace can’t have enough children to do that. The third world, on the other hand, is supercharged by the cheap food produced by the west and exported to them. They, are having a bumper crop of kids; uneducated and useless to the western societies they are fleeing to.

So, if people have more humans, there will be no humans, but if they stop having more humans, there will still be humans?

Wait, I think I get it, if people don’t stop making humans then there won’t be any more humans.

And there will be so many people that everyone will be so hungry that they will eat all the animals, and the plants and the seeds then you won’t be able to grow more plants or make more animals and then everyone starves. That’s how you get no humans.

Hey, I recall when we hit 200 million. I though that was enough already back then. I still do. The problem is untrammeled immigration and illegal migration, not runaway birth rates.

A broken clock may be right twice a day but Paul Erlich is one broken clock with no hands that has never been right in anything he says.
