I really, REALLY want to like Harry. I mean, I do! I respect his military service, no doubt.
However, I cannot WAIT to see his dark-skinned, carrot-topped, jug-eared baby boy, LOL!
There won’t be a teeny-tiny bit of Diana in that child. Which is a shame.
Just wait until you hear his name: Mohammed!
“He wasn’t sitting behind the lines and safely sipping tea.”
On at least one of his deployments in Afghanistan, he was based in Camp Bastion, a British Base co-located with the American Camp Leatherneck, in Helmand Province (Now an Afghan National Army base).
The assessment that I heard from some Marine officers who were there, was that they felt that he personally was actually a stand-up guy that they could respect, and not a coward or a wimp. Naturally, they had to provide security for him like any General or Distinguished Visitor, but he was not a shirker. He did full rotations, not just brief photo op visits.
My bet is that the new baby will sort of look like a young Redd Foxx. ;^)
But I'm sure he'll be a good polo plyer, like his granddad.
I like Harry, he seems to want to be a down to earth regular guy but was unfortunately born to royalty.
