I am fine with that. There are a lot of small restaurants and retail stores we frequent (not in SF) where we prefer not to charge.
Then don’t go to businesses that don’t take cash. It isn’t the government’s role to require businesses to take cash for your convenience. If a business wants to go cashless to deter robberies, for one reason, that should be the business’s choice.
