What it did accomplish is giving Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and the rest of the rabid anti-Trump Left (and Right) more ammunition to try and hamstring his presidency yet again.

The most important thing to Bush League Republicans is keeping the invasion going.

The Deep State is much worse that we ever thought, at least much worse than I ever thought. These Trump haters are fully willing to hijack the law to destroy political opponents. That is the definition of the Deep State and of corruption in government.

If the evidence of obstruction is so over whelming why did Mueller and his team of Hillary supporters not charge the president are at least say he obstructed justice?

Maybe they should try self-immolation?

Make it a pay-per-view.

Tripped over the third sentence...

Yes, there are some morons in the liberal media who actually think...

Really?

I suspect what they actually “Think” is much more sinister.

Before Trump progressives could scream and threaten and expect their concerns would be honored. Since Trump they have lost all honor. They are not only to be dismissed, they are to be cursed. They are exposed as true enemies.

I'm not a lawyer and I'm sure I demonstrate that regularly when I comment on legal issues. That said, however, there is a threshold question here. The Mueller report found no collusion. There was no underlying crime. To reach for an obstruction charge when there is no underlying crime, and therefore no coverup, is a bridge too far for most people who are not committed to a "get Trump at all costs" agenda.

There is also the fact that Trump cooperated substantively with the Mueller investigation. He did not assert any form of privilege. (Democrats regularly do otherwise.) He directed everyone in his administration to cooperate and testify. (Democrats regularly do otherwise.) He did not stonewall subpoenas, and he met deadlines. (Democrats regularly do otherwise.) He did not bleachbit electronic records, destroy materials that were under subpoena, or sledgehammer his electronic devices. (Democrats … well, you know.)

To argue that Trump's angry tweeting and intemperate private language constituted obstruction when he was nonetheless cooperating substantively was also a bridge too far -- especially since Hillary Clinton got a pass on clearly obstructive behavior by the Obama DOJ.

still protecting the Deep State - Dems/RINOS/FakeNewsMSM.

guess you have no choice when you all colluded to stop Donald Trump becoming President and then tried to overthrow him once he won!

collusion illusion, dead. obstruction construction will go the same way.

on with the investigation of the investigators, the Spygate coup plotters, & their collaborators, the FakeNewsMSM.

You summed it up perfectly.

It’s all about keeping the waters muddy enough for the press to provide cover.

I know you didn’t write the article, but the title should read “...Former Prosecutors’ Letter...”

They’re probably all hoping for spots on leftist msm news shows. I think it pays a 4-5 digit check.
