PETER STRZOK SUSPECTED CIA WAS BEHIND INACCURATE MEDIA LEAKS (FBI points at CIA?)
The Daily Caller ^ | May 6, 2019 | Chuck Ross

Posted on 05/06/2019 1:05:30 PM PDT by LucienCA13

Peter Strzok suspected CIA employees were behind inaccurate leaks to the press regarding possible Trump campaign contacts with Russia, according to an email the former FBI counterintelligence official sent to colleagues in April 2017.

“I’m beginning to think the agency got info a lot earlier than we thought and hasn’t shared it completely with us. Might explain all these weird/seemingly incorrect leads all these media folks have. Would also highlight agency as source of some of the leaks,” Strzok wrote in an email to FBI colleagues on April 13, 2017.

The email is highlighted in a letter that two Republican senators sent Monday to Michael K. Atkinson, the inspector general of the intelligence community.

“A lot of explaining to do”

The explanation is simple. They did as they were told to do.

I think the CIA has been saying from the outset that they had nothing to do with it. It was all the FBI.

If we would lock up struck/stroke/smirk, Page, Brennan, clapper, comey, ore, Yates, and McCabe ......within 6 weeks we would know what happened.

Brennan, Comey, and McCabe were career bureaucrats.

Do you SERIOUSLY believe they would run an operation like this from within the Obama administration without an OK from the boss?

[They] will be saying the same thing soon...[that] the Kenyan queer did it.

They know that if Barr goes after Barry, it will soak up so much more investigative and legal time than it will for ten other people simultaneously, just because of that "If you're going to shoot at the King, you dare not miss" thing.

So the underlings have a clearly self-interested motive to see the DOJ go after Barry, irrespective of the amount of truth to their statements.

Who knows what the Game Theory AI programming and data input will yield!

Their bad boss's okie-dokies expired with PDJT's inauguration. Why did you think it was critical that all those slime doggies kept their texts, FISA renewals and security clearance whatever-ing past that date?

So they'd keep doing their black hat stuff while they wouldn't have the least bit of protection, they could be indicted and put away!

Plus Barry's treasonous authorizations and protections could be seen all-the-clearer in those continued actions!

Of course. When the noose tightens, expect the partners in crime to start pointing fingers at each other. A--holes from the FBI, a—holes from the CIA. Ptooey...

Good news, the FBI thugs are now ripping the CIA thugs.

Now, maybe, we can have a cat fight to the end between Brennan and Comey!

AG Barr CONFIRMS deep state’s worst fear: ‘We have multiple criminal leak investigations under way’

thenationalsentinel.com ^ | May 2, 2019 | By Jon Dougherty
Posted on 5/2/2019, 8:09:40 AM by Red Badger

For more than two years, leaks of highly sensitive, often classified information to a few ‘privileged’ media outlets by members of the deep state occurred on a regular basis as the coup attempt against POTUS Donald Trump slowly unfolded.

And for just as long, supporters of the president pleaded with members of Congress and the Jeff Sessions-run Justice Department to take action against those conspirators.

Sessions, who had foolishly recused himself from ‘all things Russia,’ refused to act, frustrating tens of millions of Americans who saw the president battered daily by skewed reporting based on contextual leaks aimed at creating the narrative that POTUS was a Putin stooge at worst and a criminal at best.

But as the saying goes, there’s a new sheriff in town — Attorney General William Barr — and he’s preparing to get to the bottom of this coup attempt and, we believe, hold those who helped craft and execute it responsible.

At least, that’s what he said under oath on Wednesday during his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

In particular, the committee’s former chairman, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), asked Barr about the leaks and what he was doing about them.

“The Inspector General found that during the department’s investigation of Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information, there was a culture of unauthorized media contacts. During the Russian investigation, the leaks continued. Leaks undermine the ability of investigators to investigate,” Grassley argued. “Further leaks to the papers while Congress’s questions to the department go unanswered is unacceptable.

“What are you doing to investigate unauthorized media contacts by the department and FBI officials during the Russian investigation?” Grassley asked.

“We have multiple criminal leak investigations underway,” Barr responded.

Multiple.

Sen. Joe Kennedy (R-La.) also asked Barr to extend his leak investigation to the special counsel’s office.

“When you’re investigating leaks at the Department of Justice and the FBI, I hope you will include the Mueller team as well,” Kennedy said, concluding his remarks.

Should Obama be arrested for illegally spying on Trump?

Last month, House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) sent at least five criminal referrals to AG Barr regarding spying on the Trump campaign that he says actually began in 2015, shortly after the president declared his intention to seek the GOP nomination.

Cue the deep state panic.

Lots of holes in Mueller’s report. Most notably the complete absence of any mention of Fusion GPS in the entire report.

I cringe when I hear talking heads say we have to get to the bottom of this and find out what happened, to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Right, let everyone go on their way. Just tweak a few laws so it doesn’t happen again.
