I don’t believe they are over. Far from it. However I do wish they were. This is a change in my stance as things have developed. Talking to them gives them a stage of equivalence and they’ve taken advantage of that.
Not giving them a stage, ignoring them (policy in the past) while on appearance didn’t appear to be working, has produced the same result as taking to them.
I’d rather ignore them now, letting them starve their own people, hoping to invoke an internal revolution, thus keeping them at bay through sanctions and intelligence reporting vs. providing fatboy a stage of equivalence.
Now my mind may change once again if this is a ploy or trap that allows fatboy to hang himself publicly with a rope Trump has provided. These positions are not anti Trump they are reasoned responses to developments as they have played out and so far I’ve proven to be naive believing that talking to fatboy would result in any reaction that differs from historic events of the past.
Well, I'm glad you're not in charge and Trump is. We've been ignoring North Korea for decades to the point they started launching long range missiles over the sea of Japan prior to Trump.
Trump told you it was better to sit down and talk to them and lets see what happens, and he admitted it might or might not work. Why would you be against that? You'd prefer to continue to ignore them?
