I’d rather ignore them now

Well, I'm glad you're not in charge and Trump is. We've been ignoring North Korea for decades to the point they started launching long range missiles over the sea of Japan prior to Trump.

Trump told you it was better to sit down and talk to them and lets see what happens, and he admitted it might or might not work. Why would you be against that? You'd prefer to continue to ignore them?

If taking to them produces the same result (which it has thus far) yes I’d rather ignore them and not place them on equal footing with the US. Yes he did say it might or might not work and for that I give him kudos in recognizing that fact and at least giving it a try. But they have shown their cards and they are the same cards as has been provided historically.

My stance at this point is to ignore them into irrelevance once again. Stand on their heads with crippling sanctions that decimate their lands. Engage in full scale intelligence operations and espionage (physical and technological) that targets their attempts at nuclear supremacy. And support any and all actions (secretly) that would stage a coup or result in assassinations that target their upper echelon leaders up to and including their supreme leader.
