Look Id be sore and angry too if I peddled all this hyper optimism narrative and things started to unravel as they were only destined to because of the simple nature of whom we are dealing with. Cannot be befriended. Cannot respected. Cannot be loved. Cannot be absolved of dastardly crimes against Otto Warmbier. Cannot be expected to stand down their own military just because US unilaterally cancels US-ROK joint training on a sudden twitter fluke without even consulting his own stunned military. (Now suppose YOU, tell us who did all those things.)
They are precisely taking these provocations because they themselves have misread the intent that should never have been communicated to them . They thought they had a wide berth and the confidence and friendship of the POTUS. Now where possibly on earth could they have gained that impression and view of the situation.
On your side and others, unfortunately, embarrassingly but forgivingly, nonsense 24/7 for months on end who blindly got on the appeasement bandwagon... one big stupid circus and of all places on a conservative, anti-communist forum. You cant make this stuff up .

The Military doesn’t set policy sport. They follow orders. State department where you backstabbers work doesn’t
either.
But keep swinging. We are onto the NeverTrumper game.

So pretty much all that I wrote to you was above your ability to grasp. Okay, lets address each issue you raised. I used to have to do this with my kids on occassion.
Look Id be sore and angry too if I peddled all this hyper optimism narrative and things started to unravel...
I've seen no evidence of Trump being sore or angry. This is not the first time I have pointed this out to you either. These sorts of comments do reveal your animus toward Trump though. This appears to be the writings of an avid Never Trumper.
Honestly, you come off as a long term diplomat who is convinced that Trump not being a life-long politican, disqualifies him to be president. This is rather comical, since the folks who seem to have been very favored by the diplomatic corp failed to resolve this issue during the three prior administrations.
Trump still hopes to have negotiations pick up and some tangible benefits arrise. Maybe you can remember back if you've had time to grow up yet, to when Reagan met with Gorbachev. I don't think anyone thought those two would come up with working agreements. In time they did. It could happen here too, if Kim gets motivated enough. The crop coming in bad this year, is going to place added pressure on Kim, possibly generals who aren't his biggest fans too.
I covered these negotiations by explaining that as part of Trump's due dilligence, he had to keep things positive. If trump plays up the idea that he might be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, do you imagine someone else might pick up on that and possibly want to be recognized as a person worthy of a global prize like that? News reports depicted that very thing in February. LINK You have allowed your hatred of Trump to blind you. I've tried to point that out to you before, in order to save you from continuing to out yourself like you have here yet again.
...as they were only destined to because of the simple nature of whom we are dealing with.
Negotiations between parties, are never on good footing. Negotiations still take place. At times things do work out and an acceptable plan can help both nations. Your nonsensical comments about the nature of who we are dealing with, are pointless. The goal isn't necessarily to win negotiations and usher in peace. The goal can also be to reveal to global governments, exactly what/who we are dealing with. Don't tell me they know, because none of them were willing to confront Kim before this.
Once before you said that nothing had been accoumplished, and we were right back where we started. That's a child's level view of things. Holding negotiations and failing, still accomplishes a very important goal. It reveals to everyone that even the best offer anyone could have made, to help North Korea turn it's economy around, feed it's people, and increase their standard of living, couldn't persuide Kim. No even personal wealth worked. That in and over itself, is a major achievement. What you think "everyone" knows, is silly. Everyone doesn't know. Trump has made it very clear, in fact Kim has made it very clear who we are dealing with, so that if we have to take military action, everyone with half a brain will know why. That is an achievement.
You really don't know do you. Just one more face-palm moment after another from you... Our troops in South Korea have trained extensively during recent decades. As an act of good faith, Trump agreed to freeze such exercises in the short term. He can turn them back on any time he likes. Have they really cost us our preparedness, or safety for our troops? No. Not in the few months since he did it. It's up to him. He is the CIC. He is involved with negotiations and he wanted to convey his willingness to be cognizant of Kim's concerns.
There are times when you can concede a point, in the interest of a peaceful resolution. You give it a shot. If it doesn't work, you've lost nothing.
Is it your take that our troops aren't being continually trained in ways to make up for the portion of training that is not taking place now? I think that's rather naive. Trump values our troops more than anyone since at least Bush, perhaps Reagan.
They are precisely taking these provocations because they themselves have misread the intent that should never have been communicated to them . They thought they had a wide berth and the confidence and friendship of the POTUS. Now where possibly on earth could they have gained that impression and view of the situation.
Trump has taken precisely the measures I would have, if I were conducting these negotiations. This will be the third time I have asked you to lay out your plan to bring peace and a non-nuclear, non-long range missle status to North Korea. So far you have ignored the request. You whine, insult, and post idiotic stuff, but you never put your plan on the table. Evidently you're too embarrassed to.
Evidently it's your take that Trump should have walked into the negotiations with Kim by calling him a two-bit dictator who deserved to be shot at dawn by firing squad. From there all he had to do was announce to the world that Kim was a psychotic beast who was a world class abuser of human rights. Next he should have brought our troops up to the border of North Korea and had them start taking down fences instigating a war at once. This is how juvenile your criticisms are.
You don't seem to be able to grasp the first thing about diplomacy. Trump went in there treating Kim like a respected leader. He promised to help him turn his nation around. Subsequent he tossed the Nobel Peace Prize into the Mix. All this sailed right over your head, as you continued to carp about how ignorant and incompetent Trump was. Your intimations clear in your first comment here, you just haven't a clue here.
On your side and others, unfortunately, embarrassingly but forgivingly, nonsense 24/7 for months on end who blindly got on the appeasement bandwagon... one big stupid circus and of all places on a conservative, anti-communist forum. You cant make this stuff up.
Despite your incredible insights, nobody here was assured that Trump would be successful. We all hoped he would make progress. Talking up negotiations didn't make them less likely to happen. The fact that he was holding talks at all was a vast improvement for the reasons I have already sailed right over your head. Who cares if we talked about a Nobel if he was successful. YOU! You must have choked on your breakfast that morning... LMAO
No, actually you can make this stuff up. Here you've done so again.
Of course you think you're the only one who could grasp that Trump hadn't achieved success yet. That's kind of sad, but it is what it is.
I asked you once before to please explain how Trump had appeased Kim. You took a pass on explaining that to me.
You spount a lot of rhetoric, but you're short on answers other than misreading most of what has taken place in negotiations, why they took place, and the reaction to them.
