I’m not so sure about that. GDP measures total output of goods and services, regardless of whether it is produced by Americans or immigrants.

The average is 3.1%. It seems like GDP was always above 5% except during recessions. Now we are struggling to get 3% post depression. It will only get better is my point. I think this economic rival is just starting. If we can just reduce LEGAL immigration wages will go up even more.
