Frankly, I have no problem with a former President staying neutral in the primaries. I think that there is an element of class to the former Presidents staying above the fray in the primaries. I really doubt that being classy had any bearing on Obama not endorsing. I’m sure that there is some ulterior motive with Obama because he about as classless a politician as has come down the pike.
