and it does not apply since the widow had kids already. no need for the other brother to take up with her or lead his first marriage to divorce. No way was he trying to act biblical to his first wife, kids nor his brothers widow.

I don’t have a problem with him kissing his family members on the head. It’s kissing girls & women outside his family that is disturbing.

Oh, yes. Coincidentally, the same week Gropin’ Joe announced his run. It’s as if the things that Hunter did before that day never will be known — that his indiscretions don’t count if he gets divorced. They’re just plain stupid.
Except that in this case, I believe her husband’s brother performed these duties (”went unto her”) BEFORE her husband died, and while he still had a wife of his own. Anyhow, this is Old Testament Law, and not “a thing” now.
When you look like that, your name can be whatever you want. ;-D
