After 30 years of relentless black mob violence at the annual black college beach weekend in Virginia Beach, pop star Pharrell finally figured out how to change the vibe. He gentrified it, staging a three-day festival with white performers and white concertgoers paying $280 for a three-day pass.
The result: instead of 30,000 to 100,000 black people invading Virginia Beach at the end of every April to create epic levels of violence, theft, mayhem, chaos, attacks on police, killing a police horse, looting, defiance, lots and lots of dope, shootings, dine and dashes -- all celebrated in a song by Public Enemy -- Pharrells festival attracted an older, whiter, more docile crowd.
Nothing happened. Other than music celebrating guns, drugs, money, bitches, murder and cop killing, that is. But that was confined to the stage. More on that in a minute.
Not that anyone is forgetting the last 30 years. In 1989, the Virginia Beach party animals called it Greek Week -- one of dozens of such gatherings of black college fraternities and sororities up and down the East Coast over a several-year period. All leaving crime, trash, destruction, and excuses in their wake as they were run out of one town after another.
Today, local reporters are eager to minimize the violence from that time or attribute it to white racist police.
But back then, no one in Virginia Beach questioned whether 50,000 to 100,000 black people were creating incredible levels of mayhem by destroying 100 shops, fighting cops, and breaking the law.
They killed a horse. They threw a cinder block at its head.
All while blasting out the two big hits of that summer: F*ck the Police and Fight the Power, from the Spike Lee movie, Do The Right Thing.

It’s cultural, not racial. There are some West African immigrant groups that are very high achieving and productive.
I was in Atlanta for a course at GA Tech in the Spring of 1993 and stayed at a hotel on Peachtree just south/southeast of the campus. The course ended on a Friday and for some reason, I was not scheduled to fly out until Saturday morning. So, I naively think, this is my opportunity to knock around Atlanta and see the city. Except that this was Freaknik weekend, and no one bothered to tell me. I was entrapped in traffic jams all over, with raucous, spontaneous street parties popping up all over. Very ritzy vehicles, expensively attired college kids. Nicer cars than I had access to as a college student. BMW’s, Mercedes, Jaguars. Nicer cars than my parents ever had. It was a well-heeled group, much better attired and equipped than the relatively poor students at my college. But not so nicely behaved. Much public urination.
More than a decade later I moved to Atlanta, and I arrived just as the city was getting rid of Freaknik, which everyone was entirely sick of by that time. It moved to the shore and became blended in with other events, and became someone else’s mess.
It depends on the mix. As long as paleface + Asian = 85% or more, it is generally peaceful.
Oof, you were pretty much at Ground Zero.
Hard-working black parents sacrifice their lives to move their families out of a violent ghetto to safe suburbs, black, white or mixed. First thing their kids do is invite their “homies” out to ruin the block.
Used to happen here in Asbury Park, NJ back in the 80’s. Two years was all it took to end it. Homey went wild, tore everything up.
Yes, this is true. Good point.
More spittle spewing hatred from KKK-olin Flaherty.
Can you point out a fact that he got wrong in the article?
Honest question. I've only recently even heard of this guy.

I agree. Here’s a thought experiment. Take 1000 white families and put them in a run-down part of town. Give each family only a minimal amount of money to start. Provide few job opportunities (no factory work for the adults, no part-time summer work for the kids). Put everyone on the dole. Reward people for doing nothing.
Allow easy access to drugs.
And allow the schools to become chaotic.
I would say that the first white generation would probably keep to the old values. But by the third generation? That place would be as dysfunctional as any black ghetto.
Kinda like that movie ‘Lord of the Flies’.
If you consider your “run-down” part of town to be a rocky planet named Earth, your hypothesis fails.

OK, I’ll give ya that one.
Search “chicken bone beach”
The only beaches I have been to was St Augustine and Daytona Beach in Florida
We also went to Sturgis, SD, the 90th, 95th and 100th anniversary of Harley Davidson in Milwaukee.
Colin Flaherty is the author of, amongst other books, White Girl Bleed A Lot which tell the politically incorrect truths, stating the statistics which youll never see in the msm, of black dysfunction and widespread hatred of whites amongst blacks. Sometimes the hatred is passive, such as noting that white fire bleed a lot when a young white girl is attacked by a group of blacks, sometimes it is more heinous such as the torture and murder of Channin Christian and Christopher Newsome, which was completely ignored in the media, though it was one of the most gruesome and and heinous racial crimes in recent history.
"The usual wager?"
You can see that in rural & semi-rural America right now!
You don’t need another experiment!
